Shakespeare In Love
A romantic comedy that swept the Oscars, SIL stars Joseph Fiennes as Will Shakespeare. Gwyneth Paltrow plays the beautiful noblewoman who falls in love with Shakespeare. The two carry on a torrid affair as Colin Firth, Paltrow's suitor, looks on jealously. A fine performance from Judi Dench as Queen Elizabeth steals the show.
In all a good movie, SIL is the sort of flick one would see in the company of his or her beloved. However, if you are lucky enough not to have fallen in love, the company of a friend would be more than enough.
