I just have to say, I do love acting. Too bad I haven't had more experience.

Having discovered the wonders of Internet Radioplay acting, I've auditioned with several projects. Here are the parts that I've actually gotten.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: R: Shigeru Aoba

Ranma 1/2: Hearts of Ice: The Ancient One

As it currently stands, my stage credits are:

Eugene Ionesco's Macbett (Dec. 97) (I had about half a dozen parts, which when combined had about two individual lines)

Into the Woods(March 98) (Cinderella's Father: I had six individual lines; every other time I opened my mouth I was singing with at least two other people).

Independent Projects: (This is a rather self indulgent inclusion of the various class projects I did during school. Nothing really bad, but nothing really good either).

Here is a much larger list; everything that I've tried out for(but didn't obtain a part):

The Sound of Music(September 89)

Pandora(October 93)

The Sound of Music(November 93) The second time's the charm(or was it the third?)

Alice in Wonderland(March 96)

The Merchant of Venice(February 98)

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival(July 98)

Sexual Perversity in Chicago (February 99)

The Mikado (March 99)

A last bit of egotism. Presented below are four samples of my *ahem* talents. The first two were the memorized soliloquies from my audition for the Michigan Shakespeare Festival. The quote from Macbeth was included because it is one of my favorites out of Shakespeare's work. I decided to include the final song clip as something of a lark. I used it as a vocal warm up during Into the Woods(of course everyone else thought I was crazy, but then again that's nothing new). I decided to use "Fly Me to the Moon," not out of any abiding fondness for Frank Sinatra, but because it happens to be the ending theme for Neon Genesis Evangelion and since a different variation was played after each episode, it was pretty easy to cover my vocal range.

Here are my acting/singing samples in all the glory that can possibly be achieved using a computer microphone. Enjoy.

The Merchant of Venice: Act 1, Scene 3: Shylock

Macbeth: Act 5, Scene 8

Fly Me to the Moon (pardon the mixing job)

Ancient One (this is from part one of Hearts of Ice)
