Author's Note: This was a dream I had about Rei and Jadeite. Let's
just say from all the Rei and Jed fanfics I read, this isn't what you
would call a "normal" one. Just read and you'll know what I'm talking
about. The time line is the Silver Millenium. And Tasuki from Fushigi
Yuugi will be making a scene. He was in my dream! Oh, and a lot of
parts I just made up.

Rei layed down with Jadeite on the soft grass. She rolled on top
of him and put her face just inches away from his. "Kiss me." And he
did but, his lips were barely touching hers. Rei was hoping for
something more then that, so she tried to kiss him but he stopped her.
She rolled off of him and got up.
"Where are you going?" Jadeite asked while sitting up.
"Somewhere where I can't see your face."
"Come on. You know I was just kidding. I would never refuse a kiss
from you."
"You just did."
"I told you I was kidding. Looks like my little pyro can't take a
joke." Jadeite got up and stood behind Rei and wrapped his arms around
her waist. He kissed her neck and shoulders and Rei shivered with
delight as his lips touched her skin. She turned her head around and he
kissed her. It was soft at first, but then it got deeper and more
steamy. They stopped before both of them got carried away.
"I have to go meet the other generals now. Come to my chamber tonite
instead of going to the ball." He kissed her once more and left.
Rei sighed and sat down in front of the lake, looking at her reflection.
She saw someone coming. It was only Tasuki.
"Doushita?" he asked.
"Kaimu," she replied. "Are you going to tonite's ball?"
"Iie. I'm not that kind of person."
"Oh yeah, that's right. You, Tasuki, the great and almighty sichisei
that never dresses in a tuxedo."
They laughed for awhile and became silent.
"I love you."
"I know."
"Why don't you love me?"
"Please Tasuki, don't put me in this position again. And you know why."
"But you met me first before you met him."
"I know but I never fell in love with you."
"What's so great about him? He's just an average blond hair blue eyes
person."
"That's what you think. He's everything to me. He's my life. He
craves my attention, just like I crave his and he treats me with
respect. I love him too much to let him go for one day."
*Shimatta.* Tasuki tried to think of something to say but nothing came
up. He should probably have left Rei alone with her thoughts.
Rei saw the hurt expression on his face. She placed a hand on his
shoulder. Just the feeling of her touching him was pure glory.
"Suki-chan, don't be sad. I still love you as a friend." Tasuki loved
it when she called him Suki-chan. It was his pet name that she gave
him.
*Yeah, ONLY as a friend.* "Well, I gotta go. I'll see you later. Ja!"
Tasuki waved goodbye and left.
Rei looked at him leave. She stood up and walked around for a while,
then headed back to her chambers. She took a short three hour nap.(is
that short? o_0) When she woke up, she looked at her clock and
completely forgot that she had to meet Jadeite an hour ago!. She got up
and hurried herself to Jadeite's chamber.
Meanwhile, Jadeite was waiting impatiently for Rei to come. *Where is
she?* He heard a knock on his door and opened it. "Gomen Jadeite-kun.
I over slept," said Rei.
He smiled. "You're starting to act as lazy as the Princess Serenity
herself."
"Don't say that. Only I can." They both laughed.
Jadeite started to caress Rei's face. She closed her eyes at the
wonderful feeling of his touch. He started to speak. "You're so
beautiful Rei-chan. There's nobody like you and I'm glad because you're
the only one for me. I love you and that's a promise."
"I love you too."
Jadeite kissed her passionatly and deeply and she returned the kiss with
extreme passion. He laid her down on his bed and went on top of her,
still kissing her. He fondled with her breasts and touched her body,
enjoying the feeling of her smooth skin that was hiding under her dress.
"Jadeite," she moaned his name as their love making started.

Jadeite woke up first and looked at his lover, who was still sleeping
peacefully. He smiled at her and stroked the side of her stomach. "My
beautful fire goddess, what will I do without you." He turned around
and opened a drawer from the table next to him and took out a small
black velvet box. *I'll give it to her when she wakes up.*
Rei stretched and yawned loudly. She looked up at Jadeite and gave him
a small kiss on the lips. She saw him taking out something small and
shiny. He put it on her finger. "Rei-chan. I can't live without you.
Will you marry me?" Her eyes were shiny from the tears she tried to
hold in.
"Yes!"
He hugged her and kissed her forhead. He looked at the clock on his
wall. "Rei-chan, we're late for breakfast."
Rei laughed. "I still don't get how we can be late for breakfast.
Besides, I'm not hungry."
"Me neither, but someone could come looking for us, like Kunzite. If he
finds out we're here together then he'll have a fit."
Rei sighed. "Ok." They got changed quickly and left to go to the
dining room.
When they entered the dining room, everyone was staring at them,
especially Tasuki. "Eh heh, sorry. We kind of over slept," Rei
explained. She took a seat next to Tasuki while Jadeite sat next to
Nephlite. Everyone was eating quietly with the exception of Princess
Serenity. "Will you stop making those pig noises while you eat?" asked
Rei quietly. "It's very disturbing."
"I'm not making pig noises! Am I, Ami?"
"Of course. You're the only who makes them." Ami giggled.
"Endy, tell them I don't make pig noises while I eat."
Endymion laughed. "Weeelll, I have to agree with Ami and Rei on that
one."
"I told you so," said Rei.
"Oh yeah Ms. Meanie? Why are you wearing the same dress from
yesterday?"
Rei blushed furiously. Then she remebered that the Princess wears the
same dress everyday. "Me? You wear that same dress everyday!"
"Ok, enough girls! I won't allow any arguing during my presence," said
Queen Serenity. They apologized.
When everyone was finished with their meal, they headed on to the
training room except for Tasuki who trained by himself.
The four guardians of Princess Serenity transformed into their senshi
form. They did their target practices and fighting matches. They had
an hour brake before they got into their study session.
"Ami-chan. Are you teaching us today or is that fat lady coming again?"
asked Minako.
"Minako!"
"What? She was mean to us!"
Ami sighed. "No, she's not coming."
"Thank the Lord."
The four senshi went their own ways except for Ami and Rei who stayed in
the room. "Aren't you going to leave?" asked Ami.
"Why, do you want me to?"
"No it's not that. No one ever stays here when training is finished."
"So you're the only one here?"
"Yes."
"What do you do in here all by yourself?"
"Read and study."
"Ami-chan, don't you ever go outside and have some fun?"
"I have fun when I'm reading a good book. And, sometimes Zoicite comes
to play chess with me," Ami blushed when she said this.
"Oooh, I see. Look, your lover boy is coming right now. I'll see you
later. Ja ne," Rei said, winking and smiling at Ami. Ami just blushed
even more. "Ja!"
Tasuki was looking around for Rei and finally found her sitting
underneath a tree, eating a peach. He approached her and sat down
beside her. Rei greeted him with a sweet smile. "So what brings you
here?" she asked.
"Nothing. I'm just bored." He looked at her from the corner of his eye
and saw something glistening on her finger. He picked her hand up and
looked at her.
"What is this?"
"It's an engagement ring."
Her words hit him like a thousand knives stabbing his heart. *Engaged?
No!*
"Suki-chan, are you alright?"
"Uh...yeah, I'm fine."
"No you aren't. You-you're jealous aren't you?"
Tasuki looked at her.
"Don't be. It can lead to hatred and who knows what might happen," Rei
explained. "Actaully, I don't even want to think what the consequences
will be. I don't want to loose you as a friend." She paused for a
while. "Please, don't be jealous."
"I'm not. Just depressed that I lost you."
"You'll never loose me." Rei took his hands into hers and kissed his
fingers. "Never." She paused. "I have a study session now. Bye."
Rei got up and left while Tasuki was still sitting under the tree,
rubbing the spot where she kissed him.

"You two stop arguing!!!!" yelled Ami. Rei and Serenity stopped
immediately. "Can't I teach one class without you two arguing all the
time? I mean, come on! You guys are what? 17 years old and here you
are still fighting like a bunch of six year olds. Enough already!
Yeesh."
"Woa there Ami. Calm down," said Makoto. She gave Rei and Serenity a
deadly glare. "They've learned their lesson now. Right?" They nodded
their heads.
"Ok. I really need a break. I'm going to my chambers. Tomorrow's
lesson will be extra long for all the times I had to wait for Rei and
Serenity to stop arguing," said Ami. She left and Makoto cursed.
"Kuso! It's your fault that we have to stay longer for tomorrow's
lesson."
"Us?" said Rei and Serenity together.
"Rei started it first."
"Did not!"
"Did too!" They got into their tounge war and Minako and Makoto dropped
down on to the floor with extra heavy sweatdrops. ^_^;;;;;;
"Doozo! Someone shoot me!" cried Makoto.
"You don't mean that do you?" a voice said jokingly.
"Nephlite! Take me out of here please!!" Makoto said as she walked to
Nephlite. He laughed at the two girls who were still engaging in their
tounge war. "I see what you mean. Come on Mako-chan. We can go
somewhere peaceful." The couple left and Minako, Rei, and Serenity were
the only people left in the room. Their tounge war had stopped but they
crossed their arms and were back to back.
"Oh break it up you two. You've caused enough trouble already," said
Minako.
Rei sighed. "You know what. I'm leaving. You're right Mina-chan.
This is getting tiring. I'll see all of you tonite." Rei left with
look of annoyance in her face.
She bumped into Jadeite and they greeted each other with a kiss.
"You're still wearing your fuku?" asked Jadeite.
"Yeah. I'm too lazy to change into a dress."
"I told you that you were starting to be as lazy as the Princess
herself."
Rei hit him playfully. "Am not." They walked hand in hand to the
gardens. Rei started a conversation. "Why do we have these meetings
everyday?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing."
"I wish we had more time to spend our nights together." (not in that
way!) Jadeite held her close to his chest and sighed. "Me too." He
was holding her for a long time. He looked down at her and she
peacefully fell asleep on his chest. He smiled. *Not again.* Jadeite
carried her to her chamber and laid her down on her bed. He stroked her
hair for a while, whispering sweet things to her and left.

Tasuki was training in a snall dojo that was built for him. He was very
fast and had a deadly weapon. It was a tessen which shot out flames
when he yelled 'Lekka Shinen'. He was far more skilled then anybody on
the moon, that's why he was asked to protect both the Princess and
Prince. He never wanted to but was forced to by the Queen.
Now that he thought of it, Tasuki was glad she made him do it. If he
hadn't he would have never met Rei, the only girl out of the four
guardian senshi who spat back at him when he insulted them. When he saw
the fiery spirit she had, he fell in love with her right away. Why
wouldn't she be right for him? They controlled the same element, their
birthdays were right next to each other,(Tasuki's is April 18..day
before mine! *0*) and they both had a temper which no one could match.
He remembered all the comments she gave to him, ranging from kawaii to
kutabare, and he would never forget the time when she asked him to
opened his mouth so she could look at his fangs because she thought they
were cute. She had been looking at them for a while and he lost
concentration in opening his mouth so he closed it and bit her nose by
accident. Her nose was swollen and bleeding and he laughed at her. She
hit him on his head and they engaged in an argument, and then a fight.
Makoto stopped them before it became too violent.
Tasuki chuckled to himself when he remembered that day.
"Suki-chan?" a small voice said.
"What? Who's there?" Then he remembered, it was only Rei. She was the
only one who called him by his pet name.
"It's me, Rei. Are you going to the meeting?"
"No. I'm busy."
"Oh, ok."
"Rei-chan wait. I want to give you something." He took out a small
figure, actually, it was pretty big for small, and he gave it to her.
Rei was breathless. It was a Pheonix made out of a diamond and had
rubys for eyes. The fire on its tail was made out of a metallic red and
orange stone. "I know your birthday isn't until a week from today but I
wanted to give it to you right away."
"Suki-chan, I-I can't take this. It looks too expensive and-" she was
interrupted by him.
"I didn't buy it, I made it. It took me a couple of years to get it
perfect so I can give it to you."
"But, how? There aren't that many diamonds out here. And if there were
it would be impossible to find."
"There are plenty of diamonds on the moon but it's all past the Lunar
cliffs. Nobody ever goes out there because they think it's haunted but
it's not. There's so many minerals and rich soil everywhere. A little
exploring wouldn't hurt."
Rei's facial expression had turned soft. "Domo arigatou. It is a
wonderful piece of art and it's very beautiful." She went up to him and
kissed him on his cheek. "And I promise to give you the best present
you ever got for your birthday, next week." She left and turned back
once to smile at him.
"You already have Rei-chan. You already have."
