Serena was so excited. Her bestfriend Molly was finally getting married today. She was marrying Melvin, her high school sweetheart. Serena was a little depressed today because Darien was away and couldn't make the wedding. Serena had hoped that Darien would be home but he was still out at sea. Serena gathered her dress that she was going to wear to the wedding. She wasn't the maid of honor because Molly's sister was. She as ok with that because she hated getting too dressed up. She picked up her dress and she walked to take her shower. When she was finished she put her dress on. It was demin with lace around on the front. It was long and came down to her ankles. Her golden blonde hair was not in its usual meatball style. She parted it down the middle and then pulled each side up. She wore her favorite shoes, her sandals! Realizing the time she ran through the house as usual screaming that she was going to be late. She jumped into her car and got ready to leave. She looked down and realized that she was almost out of gas, but she had enough to get to Molly's house. Molly's wedding was going to be at her house in the front yard by the river. It was a beautiful day and there wasn't a could in the sky. But there was one cloud, and it hung over Serena. She was upset that she was going to this wonderful celebration and Darien wasn't there to share it with her. She sighed and turned the music up louder. She arrived at Molly's house and walked to the front door. Melvin was sitting outside with his family and told her to go on in cause Molly was expecting her. She walked in and went to Molly's room. Serena saw Molly sitting on her bed and her sister Lena was brushing her hair and putting it up really pretty. She looked like a princess. Molly's hair was finished and she put on her dress. It was covered with little pearls and lace. Serena was busy taking pictures and stuff. She realized that Molly was ready to begin the ceremony. Serena went down to the river and took a seat behind Molly's mother. Serena took pictures of Molly's mom and dad. She wasn't paying much attention and someone bumped into her. She turned around and looked into the deepest darkest blue eyes she had ever seen. She then realized that it was Darien and she pratically knocked him into the river. He picked himself up and her and they sat down together. Then the ceremony began. Molly looked so pretty and she was so happy. She pratically floated down the hill and into Melvins arms. While the couple was taking their vows Darien grabbed Serena's hand and kissed it. She looked with surprise and he just gave this goofy smile he always gave her. When the ceremony was over they followed the new couple back to the gazebo. Molly was so excited that Darien had made it to the wedding so that Serena wouldn't be lonely at the reception. While the new bride and groom were toasting, Darien asked to make an announcement. He got down one one knee and looked at Serena with that same goofy grin. He produced a small blue velvet box. He opened it and Serena gasped. It was a tiny ring with a cresent moon with a diamond in the middle. Serena knew what he was going to say and immediatly jumped into his arms. Two special things had happened that day and Serena was sure glad that she went to Molly's wedding. While Molly was throwing her flowers, Serena caught it and smiled. She knew that her wedding day would be as beautiful as Molly's. Several hours after the wedding had ended Darien and Serena said their goodbyes and left each in their own car. Darien followed Serena to her appartment. There they had a romantic dinner and then watched Serena's favorite movie. When it was over, Serena begged that Darien stay the night and he finally agreed to stay the night. They watched another movie and before it was over they fell asleep in each others arms.
