PROLUGE
The sky was such a pale blue it was almost white. The street was empty save
for a few sparrows hopping on the ground. A sudden breeze blew past, gaining
momentum with each passing second. Startled the sparrows flew to a nearby tree
and stared in astonishment at two shimmering shapes appearing,
The wind slowly sighed into a zephyr. One of the mysterious shapes knelt and
felt the ground beneath her feet, she pushed back her unruly red hair and smiled
at her companion.
"A very eventful arrival, is it not Adelaide?" Her dark haired companion
returned her smile briefly but turn to watched the small sparrows in the tree.
She motioned with her hand and they came fluttering towards her. Twittering,
they circled in curiosity and some even dared to land on her shoulders.
"So this is the new battleground for against Vortex. A very healthy place
indeed."
"Yes, we would need to seek out the White Guardians soon. The battle will be
a hard one."
"Mika, it has always been difficult. Enough talking, we must prepare our new
identities in this dimension. I would arrange our contacts and identification."
"I will prepare our new abode." With that, they vanished and left the few
sparrows chirping in surprise. (
