CHAPTER 27
"What happened here?!" exclaimed Neo Queen Serenity as she surveyed the
frozen city that was once known as Tokyo.
Earlier on, she had groggily awaken in Pluto's castle..but Pluto was no
where to be seen...Using both the Imperium Crystal and the Golden Crystal,
Serenity and Endymion managed to returned to Earth. Now, they stood before a
city encased in ice and devoid of any living thing.
"Serenity....that palace looks familiar...." Endymion nudged at his wife
and pointed to her left. Amidst the ice, rose several crystallized walls. Looking
closer, Serenity gasped. "That's..that's our future..home!"
Endymion nodded seriously and pulled his wife into a run towards that palace.

Like the last time they went to the 30th century, the crystal palace yawned
opened and allowed them in. Inside, everything was the same...except....
"Endymion, there's a box there..."
Endymion approached the 'box'. "it's not a box, Serenity...it's the altar you
slept on after the attack of the Black Moon in the 30th century." He bended down
and scrutinized the ornate carving. "I wonder what it means..."
"How did this get here? How did this palace get here?" Serenity frowned.
The sudden chiming of bells made them jump. It's melodious tunes seemed to
announce the presence of something. Before their amazed eyes, Sailor Saturn appeared
in her princess outfit and curtseyed to her lieges. "Welcome back, Your Majesties."
"Saturn!" Serenity rushed forward, only to find that that was a translucent
holographic image.
"Your Majesty, by the time you see this holographic image of mine, I will
have left this palace. Pluto has returned to her post as the Time Keeper. When
you were unconcious, Mount Fuji exploded, causing a huge tremor to go through
the Earth's plate. Japan descended into a complete wreck and the neighbouring
countries were also affected. In order to salvage what was left of Earth,
Adelaide entered the Earth's core with me. We sought out the pulsating energy
of the earth and freezed it, causing the whole Earth to fall into hibernation."
Saturn continued. "Actually, I only combined my powers with Adelaide, she froze
it with a strong spell...that only when you returned it would stop."
"But what am I supposed to do?"
"Join strenght with the Golden Crystal. Use the Golden Crystal to summon the
sprites of Elysion. They would be able to break the spell. Then use the Imperium
Crystal to wake up the other senshi.."
"The other senshi?"
"Why.." smiled Saturn. "Your guardians of course, Venus, Mars, Mercury and
Jupiter. With thwir power, you can restore Earth to what it once was..."
"They..they're still alive?!" Serenity gasped, tears of happiness running
down her face. Saturn only gave a mystarious smile.
"Then..what about Uranus and Neptune?"
Saturn only shook her head and smiled that same smile. She curtseyed again
and vanished amidst the chimings of the mysterious bells....

Four years later, in a large playroom set in the royal Crystal Palace....
"Whatever happened to the Outer senshi, Your majesty?" inquired Sailor Venus.
"I don't know.." murmured Neo Queen Serenity as she bounced a gurgling baby.
"If you bounced her too much, she'll get a headache." said Mars irritately.
"Actually, it won't a affect her that much." chimed in Mercury.
Neo Queen Serenity stuck her tongue out at Mars and kissed her laughing daughter.
"What about Adelaide?" pressed on Venus.
"I really don't know...." replied Serenity. "But I'm sure she's still alive...
somewhere...someplace..."
A maid appeared and said Endymion had summoned her. Leaving her daughter with
her guardians, Neo Queen Serenity glided towards the room she shared with her husband,
briefly pausing to look at a painting near the door. It was a sketch she drew a year ago,
showing her clasping hands with another dark-haired girl in a gown with fairy wings.....
"Adelaide..." she murmured.
