AUTHOR'S NOTES
Finally, after so many months of writing, I've completed the The First Dawn
Chronicle-The Chess Set. Now I'm going to work on the "Prequel" and "2nd
Chronicle".
Anyway, for those who read fantasy and horror stories, there might be a few
familiar theme in the "Chess Set". The majority of the dialogues used were
influenced by David Edding's Belgariad. Also, the part where the senshi were
killed were influenced by Christopher Pike's and R.L. Stine's works.
Note that I said 'influenced'. So forgive me if my fanfic sounds a bit
odd and out of sorts....^_^
Frankly, I don't really like how 'The Chess Set' in the first few chapters,
at that time, I had the writer's block and fumbled a bit...hmmm....but
luckily, I managed to salvage what I could and tried to make it a better
fanfic. A piece of advice, if you want to write great fics...go buy David
Edding's Rivan Codex...it has a lot of tips on writing stories(yeah...so it's
set in the fantasy theme....but it's still useful).

Anyway, I actually killed my own fanfic character..unbelievable..but I did.
Seems to add more spice to the story...not to mention a few other things...
I changed the ending. Formerly, I wanted Neo Queen Serenity to battle
the Shadow King and cristallize Tokyo....but then I came opoun a great
manga...forgot the name...but it's about how people would react if all
hope of survival is lost after Mount Fuji exploded, destroying Japan...
it's a great manga...I think the title had something to do with "End
Of Days".....so I decided to use that part since it sounded more logical
....well...at least to me....but that also created a bit of ill writing
in between..*sweatdrops*....
As for Serenity's new attack....I decided to base that part in the manga.
We know that she had a staff when she became a Queen..heck, Small Lady
even discussed about it with Pluto...so I gave her a new staff, plus a new
attack just to make it look authentic...hahaha.....
The title "Chess Set" actually isn't really in tune with the story...I
formerly wanted to base the characters and villains as chess pieces, but
I started to get a headache choosing specific names for the villains, hence
you might notice that that the names started to sound a bit unfamiliar.
I know my ending left a lot of questions hanging...but that's all reserved
for the 2nd Chronicle.....especially who was the mysterious masked senshi
that appeared to rescue Chibiusa in 30th century Tokyo....
