Zip Files (*.zip)

For all the friends loving Faye to get the files fast, files in fayeZone almost compressed in Zip format. Please prepare the tool for decompress Zip files, like WinZip, please visit http://www.winzip.com/.

RealPlayer Fils (*.ra , *.rm, *.ram)

Now many audio/video files on Internet saved as Real Player format. Please prepare the newest version of RealPlayer for playing these files. Please visit http://www.real.com.

Wallpapers made by the manager

Making Faye's wallpapers is my favorite. Using the wallpapers in fayeZone is very easy; mouse one click on the , it will open a new window which contain the wallpaper. Use your mouse's right button one click one the wallpaper image, choose "Save as wallpaper". Now you have Faye in company with you!

Letter papers (MS Word template) made by the manager

First you must have  MicroSoft Word, which often with MicroSoft Office. After downloading the fletter01.zip, decompress the zip file, a fletter01.dot will come out, put it into like c:\Programfiles\Microsoft Office\Templates , i.e. in the directory you installed the MicroSoft Office. After entering MS Word, choose Files\New file, choose the fletter01, now you open the template! An easier way is double click the fletter.dot, open it and start writing letter to your friends. You can also print it via a color printer, it must be beautiful!

Themes

Becuase the theme file is too big, I split it into two parts and zip them. Please decompress these two file to the same forlder, then open the Faye Wong .theme , then... You know what to do!

Windows Logos

Windows logos are the scenes you see when you are waiting Windows to load.

There are three files in the zip file of a fayeZone's winlogo file:

logo.bmp
logos.bmp
logow.bmp

What the Windows needs are:
c:\logo.sys
c:\windows\logow.sys
c:\windows\logos.sys
So we have to [1.Rename the files 2.Put the files to correct folders] When renaming, I recommand you do in DOS mode, for example, you put the three decompressed files in  c:\faye, then you should type in DOS mode:
C:\FAYE>ren logo.bmp logo.sys
C:\FAYE>ren logos.bmp logos.sys
C:\FAYE>ren logow.bmp logow.sys
ren stands for rename... Notice! After back to Win95, you may not see the .sys files, if so, you should check the File Manager, in somewhat View\Options, let your .sys files show.
Now move these .sys files to correct folders. Notice that logos.sys and  logow.sys should be put to c:\windows!

Screnn Saver -- With 3D Maze

What is this? Press the right button of Mouse on your computer's desktop, then choose [Contents],

After choosing [Screen saver], check if there is a screen save named 3D Maze? If not, please find out your Win95 CDROM and install it.

If you have 3D maze, then press the [Config] button,

A Config Maze window will show. There are three part you can change, press the [Wall] button, a window show, choose [Custom], then open the files you decompressed from the zip file you downloaded from fayeZone.

Screnn Saver -- Video Saver

This is a application written by a Stanford student. After install it, you can use any movie clips to be your screen saver, like .avi, .mov, and .mpg.

If you bought Faye's VCD, because there are some mpeg files inside, you can have a house in your computer with Faye walking inside! Isn't it great?
