Cerritos Community College Computer Lab:
As most of you know, I always go to to the lab to
do most of my work since I only have a 28.8 kbps modem at home plus they
have the progams that I mostly use (Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress,
Soundedit 16,Director) which I don't have at home. Recently they installed
a password proctection program on all the macs which was fine with me since
you can't have enough protection on your systems (I found that out the
hard way a few months ago when somebody 'mailed me a VIRUS) but they
erased everything in the hard drives! Even if I do have only guest privilages
at the lab I can't use them because there aren't any programs in them.
Basically the macs in the lab are either just for display or paperwights.
And if you're not up with the Rock, Mr. Garrison's
got 11 words for ya!
