In the year 1999 a phenomenal event occurred in the skies known as Robotech which will forever alter the course of human history. At that time the globe was lock in a war known as the Global Civil War. The alien battle fortress crash landed on Macross Isle. Seeing that invasion from space was possible the war was called off. For the next ten years human scientists studied the ship’s advance technology known as Robotech. Over the years the United earth government was formed to protect the earth against any alien invaders. New weapons started being produced like the armored platforms, destriods, Lancer II fighters, QE300 Ghost fighters, and the Vf-1J Valkyries. The United earth government thinking their weapons were invicible did not know that a race of Giants made for the sole purpose fighting known as the Zentraedi were on their way to recover the fallen battlefortress because of it’s secret protoculture factory. The Zentraedi ships were larger and were equip with many powerful particle beams that could fire very rapidly. Before the Zentraedi arrived Captain Henry J Gloval an experience leader during the Global civil war was assign to command the SDF-1. Roy Fokker the leader of the famous Skull Squadron and the Skull Squadron were some of the chosen few to fly the new Valkyries. Roy who was also the big brother or Mentor of Rick Hunter invited him to see the demonstration of the new Valkyries. On the day of the completion of the SDF-1 on Macross Island a Zentraedi armada lead by Commander Breetai emerged near earth from a spacefold. Breetai sends a decoy vessel to check for an automatic defense mechanism aboard the SDF-1 and the SDf-1 fired on the decoy vessel and disintegrated it. Captain Gloval knowing that the firing mechanism only fired on unfriendly forces realizes that enemy forces have entered the area. Gloval orders 3 Armor Platforms 1,2, and 10 to intercept and destroy the enemy. However Gloval greatly underestimated the strength of the Zentraedi. The armor platforms managed to destroy one scout ship. Then Commander Breetai orders his flagship to fire, the Zentraedi lasers just cut through armor 2 and heavily damaged 10. Gloval seeing this display of power realized that the enemy is very powerful. Is mankind finshed?
