Okay for those of you who have never seen Robotech than I suggest you go back to the main page because Spoilers coming up ahead. (Meaning the bios will give story away).

Rick Hunter is the main character in the Marcross saga. At frist Rick begins as an arrogant stunt pilot and also interrupts his the Valkyrie demonstration in the beginning of the series. Hunter later joins the military after being convinced by his long time friend commander Roy Fokker. Rick has an strong attraction for Lynn Minmei(loser). Hunter also constantly argues with his superior Lisa Hayes. The two didn’t even get off on the right foot. Rick even insulted Lisa in the beginning by calling her an old sour puss. Despite his obsession with Minmei, Rick rose to be one of the best pilots aboard the SDF-1. He accomplishes many dangerous missions such as rescuing Lisa Hayes during Khyron’s ambush on Mars. Later in the series a tragedy occurs, The death of commander Roy Fokker. With Roy dead Rick is assigned leadership of the Skull Squadron. After the First Robotech War Rick Hunter emerges as the hero and discovers that he and Lisa were meant to be together. The two later order the Building of the REF fleet and lead a mission of peace to Tirol to attempt to negotiate with the rulers of the Zentraedi The Robotech Masters.

Lisa Hayes is the first officer on the bridge and graduated ath the top of her class. Lisa’s family has a career in the military. Her farther is one of the council members of the United Earth Government council and also an admiral in the Global Civil war. Lisa constantly argues with Rick Hunter about how he’s always disobeying orders. But the arguing dies down late on in series as Liasa and Rick become closer while being trapped with each other.(ex. Inside the Zentraedi ship and during the SDF-1’s , modular transformation). However the arguing increases more as Lisa interferes with Rick’s personal life a little too much. Lisa realizes that she is madly in love with Rick. Not knowing what to do she goes to her close friend Claudia Grant for advice. Claudia tells Lisa to go for Rick. However during one of their dates Rick stood Lisa up to see Minmei. Lisa angered by this action of Rick’s she stops seeing him for a while. Lisa later tells Rick she loves him and she always have and always will because she was assigned command to the SDF-2 and was going to lead an expedition along with gloval to Triol and she might not see Rick again. Just Lisa was going to run off but Khyron attacks. Khyron destroys the SDF-1 and two. In the process taking the lives of Henry J Gloval, Claudia Grant, and the Bridge Bunnies. In the his Kimakazee attack. Lisa was able to escape due to the fact Gloval pushed her into an escape pod.. Lisa and Rick end up together and will marry each other later on in the RobotechII:THE sentinels.

Commandaer Roy Fokker is an experienced pilot. Roy became one the bes fighter pilots during the Global Civil War after he shot down more than a 100 enemy planes. Before Roy became a fighter pilot him and Rick worked at Rick’s dad’s flying circus. Roy was one of the chosen few to fly the new Veritech fighters. Anxious to see his close friend Rick Hunter or his little Brother(Yeah I know they aren’t related Rick just calls him Big Brother because they’re really close) again he invites him to see the demonstration of the new Veritechs. Roy was also the man responsible for Rick joining the Airforce. Roy Fokker continues to defend the SDf-1 very valiantly shooting down many Zentraedi pods but sadly in Miriya’s assault Roy Fokker was doing fine and shot down 3 enemy fighters one after another but during a moment of lack of concentration Roy Fokker’s Plane was shot. Roy grunted a little thinking he was alright and landed but what he didn’t know was he was dying slowing from internal bleeding.(he died on Claudia’s Floor). After Roy’s death Rick was given command of the Skull Squadron.

Lynn Minmei is probably the most annoying charcter in Robotech. She is annoying and also she isn’t so good looking as Rick thinks she is. I also pity some people on board the SDF-1 because she was she was their best source of entertainment. Minmei finally figures out Rick loves her(because she’s so dumb and clueless). And just when Minmei figures out she loves Rick. Rick is already saying to Lisa he loves her. Minmei finally lets Rick go. It’s a shame Khyron didn’t vaporize her.

Max Sterling was one of the two new recruits to be assigned to Rick Hunter after he’s promoted to 2nd Lt..Max Sterling is the best pilot on the SDF-1 however due to his inexperienced in battle Sterling never became leader of the Skull Squadron in the Macross Saga. Sterling’s natural talents in flying are incredible. Max even shot down more enemy pods than Rick Hunter on his first Mission. Sterling’s most outstanding task was that he was the very first fighter pilot to defeat the undefeated Miriya ! Max angers her because she suffered her first loss due to him and micronizes and tries to kill him. But instead Max falls in love with Miriya and Miriya gives birth to Dana(leader of the 15th squadron in the southern Cross Saga).

Ben Dixon is the other new recruit assigned to Rick Hunter. Ben is a big jolly guy who likes to eat a lot. Even though Ben has a lot of determination and courage he never became one of the top pilots inside the SDF-1.Bens is nice to everyone and friendly. Just one episode aftter Roy Fokker is dies , Ben Killed when he is caught is the barrier system overload while defending the SDF-1 from one of Khyron’s attacks.

The Bridge Bunnies Sammy Porter(short blond), Vanaessa Leeds(glasses) , and Kim Young(Black Hair). They chatter a lot on the bridge and flirt with men in their spare time. Usually they are kept in check by Claudia Grant. The bridge bunnies were very gifted officers that kept track of everything in the ship. One of them Sammy Porter was so gifted that she was allowed to substittue for Lisa Hayes if Lisa isn’t on the bridge. However it’s shame that all of them were killed during Khyron’s last assault on the SDF-1.

Claudia is one of the most gifted officers on the bridge and also the best friend of First officer Lisa Hayes. Claudia was the fiancée of Roy Fokker and was greatly sadden by his death. Claudia is also the person that keeps the Bridge bunnies in check and makes sure they don’t fool around. Claudia also helps Lisa Hayes express her feelings for Rick Hunter. Claudia was killed on the last battle of the First Robotech war.

Captain Henry J Gloval is an experienced Tactician during the Global Civl war. Herny was assigned to command the SDF-1 because of his good skills. It's probably thanks to Captain Gloval that the SDF-1 was able to sruvive many attacks from Breetai, Azonia, and Khyron. After the Zentraedi destroy Earth Gloval becomes the leader of earth. Just when he was about lead an expedition Khyron attacks. Gloval and his crew fought valiantly but at the end everyone on the bridge except Lisa Hayes were killed.

Lynn Kyle is the cousin of Lynn Minmei. Kyle belives in peace just like Rolf Emerson in the Southern Cross Saga. But unlike Rolf, Kyle is RUDE to all military personel. Lynn Kyle is constantly putting down Rick Hunter and was even mean to Roy Fokker when Roy asked Minmei to visit Rick at the hospital. After the earth is destroyed by Dolza's main fleet Kyle starts drinking and him and Minmei split up and no one knows where Kyle went.

Commander Breeatai is strong, merciless, and great tactician. Breetai towers above most Zentraedi warriors the only person taller thhan Breetai is Dolza. The most imposing feature of Breetai is probably the metal plate that covers his face. He wears a plate to cover his flesh.(THe skin on his face was ripped off due to an encounter with the Invid). Breetai is also no wimp that hides behind his soldiers.(Breetai trashed up Rick's battleloid). Time and time again Breetai leads attack after attack on the SDF-1. But Breetai soon got contaminated with human emotions and became allies with Gloval and helped the SDF-1 fight Dolza's invasion.

Exedore is Breetai's aide. He is a brilliant advisor. Exedore may not be as ruthless as Breetai but he's smart and gives Breetai great advice that have help the Zentraedi fleet nearly beat the SDF-1. However after Breetai's fleet becomes contaminated Exedore was forced to negotiate with the humans. Exedore also became an ally of Captain Gloval.
