Snow Mountain Lodge
This is the Snow Mountain Lodge, the one place where to stay while enjoying the
winter pleasures of the mountain. This rustic building's walls are made of dark
wood planks with the odd red brick pillar mixed in. The lobby is two stories
high, warm and comfortable with a central fireplace surrounded by benches for
socializing. The proprietress, an elderly little lady, smiles as she walks around
the benches and offers cups of hot chocolate. The south wing houses the guest
chambers, another door indicates the access to the hot springs, or you can go to
the solarium to enjoy the weather without its rigors.

>Achika glances over at Hideyoshi, then turns her attention to her talisman,
which still has a certain lock of red hair attached to it.
>Rei wasn't asleep in front of the fireplace for once. He was reclining on a
couch! Not much difference, but it's the thought that counts.
>Ukyou-kun exchanges the ping-pong ball with Ushio a bit... *tok* *tak* *fwap*
*tak* *tok*... 'Fwap' you ask? That's because she uses a slipper, not a
paddle.
>Ushio keeps up the volley for a bit, but eventually whiffs, completely missing
the ball with one swing.
>Ushio asks, "So what's the score now?"
>Ukyou-kun says, "Gnnny!" o_o; "Woo... I got it."
>Ukyou-kun blinks, "Score?"
>Ukyou-kun n.n; "Hum... even?"
>Ushio says, "Actually, I think you have Two...."
>Achika looks up at Hideyoshi and holds out her arm, overlapping the lock of hair
on her view of the young man.
>Rei sits up, roused a bit by the incessant clacking 'z.='
>Ukyou-kun n.n; at Ushio "Ah, who cares... Wanna pause?"
>Hideyoshi . o O ( Sea creature AND highly popular anim show? Five letters
starting with 'S'... )
>Ushio looks up at the clock. "Sure...I've got my train soon, anyway."
>Ukyou-kun o.o "Oh... well, nice seein' ya."
>Achika turns back to the fire, but stares at the crystal on her chain.
>Rei stretches and looks around. He's awake now, might as well make the best of
it. "Oh, hey Ukyou. And... other guy." He doesn't remember Ushio's name 'n.n';
>Ushio says, "Aotsuki Ushio."
>Ukyou-kun asks, "Hiya... neko-chan. (cackle)" then walks to somewhere closer to
Achika, her reflection winds up going oddly in Achika's crystal, n.n "Heyo
sister... Whatcha got there?"
>Rei is a neko-kun, darn it! 'u.u';
>Ushio grabs his suitcase and starts working through the checkout procedure with
Hideyoshi.
>Achika blinks and looks up at Ukyou, "Huh? Ooh... It was a present..."

Achika is a young lady 17 years of age. She has very long black
hair which is tied back in a pony tail and held in place with a red
scrunchie. Her brown eyes are full of excitment and she always seems
to have a smile on her face. Achika is currently wearing a yellow
sweater, rolled up at the sleeves, and a pair of blue jeans. On her
feet are a pair of white sneakers.

Rose Bouquet, and Chain with talisman
>Hideyoshi gets off his crossword puzzles long enough to arrange Ushio's
checkout... ^^ "See you next year?"
>Ushio laughs. "If I win the contest again."
>Hideyoshi blinks, then nods with a faint smile, his hair getting a bit in his
eyes with that.
>Rei leaps over the couch and walks over to the ping pong table. He's never seen
one of those before, actually.
>Not in use, at least.
>Achika asks, "Next year? Are you closing?"
>Hideyoshi blinks at Achika, "Hm? Oh no..." he thumbs at Ushio, "He's leaving."
>Achika blushes lightly, "Ooh.."
>Ushio jumps to one side and starts moving quickly away from were he just was. He
shouts to Ukyou "Ukyou! Throw me that bundle by the table." Something seems odd
about his Yukata on one side, like it's heavily frayed.
>Ukyou-kun o.o; "Huh?" then she turns to the table, "Hum... Rei-chan? The
package?"
>Ukyou-kun . o O ( He's closer than I am... )
>Rei blinks. "Hmm?" He reaches down and picks it up. "This one?"
>Ushio jump back and shouts "That one! Yes!". The front of his Yukata seems to be
falling apart.
>Rei lobs it at Ushio. "Here y'go, catch!"
>Achika stares into the fire and ignores the commotion.
>Ukyou-kun sits aside Achika, blinking at the scene... Then she blushes at a
thought . o O ( What do guys wear under... *inward slap* x.x Come on Ukyou!
Something weird's going on! )
>Achika smiles at Ukyou.
>Ushio grabs the bundle out of the air. Although the toss wasn't perfect, it
almost seems to arc towards him.
>Rei's toss was perfect! Really! Rei never makes mistakes! Really!
>Ukyou n.n; at Achika, "Saaay, sister, will ya be there tomorrow? Slumber party
and all?"
>Ushio stops running and stands still, bundle held out in front of him.
>Achika nods slowly, "If I'm not feeling too tired, I will be."
>Hideyoshi O_o; at Ushio, "Err..." as usual, his comments are well thought out
and logical.
>Ushio says, "STUPID! Now I'm going to have to change! If I miss my train, you're
CARRYING me back to Tokyo. He then grabs his bag and stomps back towards the
guest wing."
>Rei blinks. What's HIS problem? 'c.c'; Rei shrugs.
>Hideyoshi blinks. blinkblinks. o.o; "Ehm... sorry?" he seems to think the
yelling's aimed at him... he was in the line of sight with something invisible...
go fig'.
>Ushio goes towards the south wing.
>Ushio exits, with Tora perched on his shoulders.

when he shows his other personality.

>Ukyou nudges Achika with her elbow, "Oy, how about Ken-chan? I haven't seen him
in ages?"
>Achika shakes her head, "Neither have I. I haven't seen any of them."
>Ushio looks back towards the area of the counter. "Well, come on. I'm not
leaving you here alone."
>Ushio exits the lodge, closing the door to keep the warmth in.
>Ukyou pikus o.o "Hmm, maybe someone had to invite 'em over here."
>Achika says, "You'd have to find him first."
>Ukyou n.n "That's what letter're for..."
>Just as the door is swinging closed, the snow blowing in swirls as if someone
else passed through.
>Tora exits the lodge, closing the door to keep the warmth in.
>Achika asks, "Do you have his address?"
>Ukyou says, "Kenshin? Sure, that Kamiya dojo thingie."
>Achika says, "Oh, right. But I don't know if he's even there.."
>Ushio pages, "Goodnight, all!" to Ukyou, you and Achika.
>Rei scratches the side of his head . o O ( What're they talking about? I'll
never understand women 'o.<' )
>Ukyou says, "He'll show up sooner or later..."
>Achika smiles, "I hope so."
>Ukyou o.o; and leans closer, "Oy, y'haven't seen how Hideyoshi treated Lina a
few weeks ago, did you?"
>Achika blinks, "No. What did he do?"
>Hideyoshi, he just sweeps some snow off by the entrance.
>Ukyou says, "Well he... threw her out basically... c.c; I mean, there was sorta
kinda a lil' reason to, but... well he was kinda mean at it."
>Rei sighs. Gossip. He won't be getting himself invloved in conversation tonight.
So... he settles for grabbing a mug of hot chocolate and reclining by the fire
place.
>Ukyou n.n "Hey! What do I break the punch for... That's material for tomorrow's
'Truth or dare' game!"
>Achika says, "Oooh. He's still really cute but... It really wasn't him I met
last year, that's for sure..."
>Ukyou o.o and blinkblinks...
>Ukyou (OOC) Well, I lost the desc, if that's it... n.n; Or am I RPing him
_that_ differently?

recently, at any rate. "Haven't seen you in a while." He smiles, a little.

>Achika smiles, "How have you been? Are you still hugging people?"
>Rei blinks and sweatdrops. "Oh, erm, that's been dealt with." '^^'
>Achika says, "Oh, that's good.."
>Rei sits up. No reason to hog all the real estate in front of the fireplace. He
sighs, and says... without really thinking about it, "Kind of reminds me of my
old house..."
>Achika asks, "Oh? You had a fireplace there?"
>Rei blinks, realizing he was speaking aloud. "Oh? Er... yeah. Not as nice as
this one."
>Achika smiles and warms her hands, "It sounds like a nice house already."
>Rei's smile fades a little. "... Yeah. It was."
>Achika asks, "It's alright. Did something happen to your home, or did it happen
to you?"
>Rei blinks. He doesn't like where this conversation is headed... but he replies
anyway. "It... burned down, quite a while back..."
>Achika blushes and looks away, at the fire, actually, "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't
mean to pry... I'm sorry."
>Rei smiles again, but it's forced his time. "No problem... really... can't do
much about it now anyway..." He neglects to mention that it was arson, and that
his 'brothers' died in it...
>Achika tries to change the subject, "Do you... uh.. like the snow up here?"
>Rei hmms? "Yeah, it's kinda nice, actually... refereshing change of pace from
the city. Always preferred the countryside, myself."
>Achika nods and smiles, "Yeah. I live in the countryside.."
>Rei scratches the side of his head, a dopey smile on his face. He does
appreciate the change of topic, it would seem. "There isn't a lot to go around,
here."
>Achika says, "No. The city is a lot closer than when I... I mean... a few
years ago..."
>Rei says, "A lot more city than where I come from..." He doesn't see the need to
mention he isn't a 'local'.
>Achika nods, "Things seem so much faster and a lot more crowded."
>Rei nods. "Tell me about it." On the plus side, it's a lot easier to make a
living by stealing.
>Achika says, "It's very loud too.."
>Rei has bigger ears, he's noticed. "That's why I came up here. That, and I got
tired of sleeping in the park."
>Achika nods, "I like it up here."
>Rei stretches. "Gonna hate it when it closes for the season." Back to the park.
>Achika says, "Yeah, me too. I wonder what it's like up here in the summer."
>Rei says, "Probably greener. And a lot less people."
>Achika giggles, "Yes. It's probably still very nice."
>Rei hmms. "Probably boring, too. But nice, yeah."
>Achika stretches, "Boring? I guess. It would be much quieter."
>Rei chuckles. "Ayup."
>Achika smiles.
>Rei exhales. He hasn't been this relaxed in a long time. Venturing to change the
subject again, he queries, "What is Ukyou up to now? She seems to have something
planned." He scratches the side of his head. "Been acting weird recently, too.
More... um... girlish." 'O.o';
>Achika giggles and smiles, "Maybe she is. She's got a party planned tomorrow
night for the girls here. Probably others too."
>Rei says, "Oh yeah." He snaps his fingers.
>Achika blinks, "What is it?"
>Rei shakes his head. "You might know about this... Ukyou has this medallion
thing, I saw it. Said some guy named Nodaitsu gave it to her, but she wouldn't
elaborate on it."
>Achika blinks and looks at her own talisman still in her hand, "Really? Is it
the same one she had some time ago?"
>Rei blinks as well. "Yeah... well, I never saw it until recently, dunno how long
she's had it."
>Achika says, "I haven't heard her mention Nodaitsu in a long time."
>Rei rubs the back of his neck. "Yeah... she got kinda mad when I pressed the
issue."
>Achika giggles, "She was probably getting emotional then..."
>Rei shrugs. "Can't fathom her sometimes."
>Achika smiles, "She's really nice though. I like her a lot."
>Rei rubs the back of his neck and chuckles. "Yeah, she's kinda fun, if you
aren't making trouble..."
>Achika giggles, "She gets angry kinda quickly.."
>Rei nods 'o.o';
>Achika smiles.
>Achika stretches, "I should get some sleep."
>Rei doesn't say anything else, but nods.
>Achika gets up, "Take care, Rei."
