Cut open the thick red rind with a sharp knife. Be careful not to
let the sap contained in the skin stain your clothes, which would leave
permanent marks. The white, juicy pulp is divided into 5 to 8 segments,
of which 1 to 3 contain a seed. The sweet flesh has a delicate texture
and will melt in your mouth. Price: 25-40 baht a kilo. Season: May to July.
