Seem like the blonde bimbo stereotype was created especially for Mihoshi. She is a member of the Galactic Police (her grandfather is the commissioner), and while on patrol looking for Kagato, she gets caught in a warp bubble, and ends up on Earth with the rest of the gang. Although an utter ditz, she usually succeeds, apparently through blind luck, and shows signs of incredible powers of observation.  Mihoshi is first introduced in episode one while chasing the evil space pirate Ryoko. Mihoshi is our typical stereotype blonde with a bubbly personality. She is First Class Detective Mihoshi of the Galaxy Police. . . only because her grandfather is the commissioner!  Mihoshi was alerted of Kagato's presence in the Solar System, leading her to Tenchi & co. quite by accident. Kiyone is not resent in the OAV series, but in the TV series, "The Tenchi Universe", she is Mihoshi's partner. After Mishoshi is stranded on Earth, we learn of her devotion to a distant partner. One of which comes to rescue her in episode five. Being such an odd combination, Mishoshi unknowingly drags down the advancement of her partner, Kiyone.  She falls in love with Tenchi when she finds that he saved her life. This does not bode well with the competition (Ryoko and Ayeka) because Mihoshi seems quite unaware of the (or any) situation. More often than not, Mishoshi is a favored character. With her many smiles, and childlike innocence, Mihoshi grabs the heart of many!  Mihoshi's voice actor for the Japanese OAV is Mizutani Yuko, and for the English dub is Ellen Gerstel (aka Jean Schwartz).   Mihoshi's pictures
