Sunny's Bio Page
Hello! My full name is Seon Young Choi Williams and I was born in Taejeon, South Korea. I have an older brother, two older sisters, and wonderful parents, all of whom are still living in Korea. My husband, Brian, my daughter, Kahra, and I, live in Gainesville, Florida where Brian and I attend the Universtiy of Florida. God has blessed me with a loving family on both sides of the ocean.
I am at the University of Florida as a post-bac in the Linguistics program, having graduated from Santa Fe Community College in the fall of '98. Previously, I recieved my bachelor degree in English Language and Literature from Hanam University in Taejeon. I have completed the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate program and plan to teach English when I go back to Korea. Learning English is very hard, but it is fun to communicate with people from all over the world.
Having lived in the United States for nine years, I've come to appreciate some of the things about Korea that I took for granted before I left. I love the culture of my homeland and miss daily exposure to the music, art, costumes, food and natural beauty that make Korea so wonderfully unique. In the future I'll use my webpage to share some of this culture with my page visitors.
This is a picture of my daughter, Kahra, on her 1st birthday.  Her Korean name is Sae Mi, and the traditional Korean dress she's wearing is called a hanbok.
More photos of my daughter, husband and me.
