The V.G. Warriors

The Cast

Yuka Takeuchi

Yuka is the heroine of the story and is the one with the most potential. She has a lot of training to do yet and she has plenty of pinnacles of power yet to explore. Every year, she's growing more and more powerful. How long until she reaches her limit? It probably won't happen for a long, long time.

Satomi Yajima

Satomi is Yuka's best friend and the only one who really understands Yuka's abilities. Unfortunately, she's got a rough past, as her father and mother are dead and her little brother recently fell into a number of Grand Mal Seizures. Satomi was running low on money when a splinter faction in the Jahana Group decided to use her for it's experiments. Thanks to Yuka, she was freed and her brother made a full recovery.

Reimi Jahana

Reimi is the powerful champion of the VG tournament and had her own agenda for a while, but she's a good person deep down. She just had a really bad mother and we have no idea of what happened to her father (killed by her mom?). Reimi exudes arrogance and power like a powerful perfume and proves herself to be the most powerful VG fighter constantly.

Elena Goldsmith

Elena is a heavy hitter, in both energy attacks and in pure strength. Of course, like 90% of the VG warriors, she's got a bad past too. She's part-American, part-Japanese, and was basically teased and laughed at. She later focused that rage into a devastating technique, creating eight energy spheres and blasting an opponent from all sides. Yuka was instrumental in helping Elena find peace with herself.

Ayako Yuuki

Ayako is one of the few people who doesn't seem to have a horrible past, but she does help out the poor. She's a volunteer when she's not burning up the dance floor, waitressing at the SOTO or fighting VG matches. She's one of the special people who has a naturally large heart. It tends to surprise some people. Of course, she's got a naughty side, which she shows to Satomi when the two fought.

Manami Kusonoki

Manami looks young, but don't think her stupid. She set up Yuka to fight Elena, because she wasn't a strong enough to fight the busty blonde. But, Manami is also an idol singer and is fifteen years old, but she does act like she's eight. Well, in any case, she still packs a punch when she throws her kat mittens, so don't dismiss her.

Jun Kubota

Jun is an ex-Olympic wrestler. She was banned for being excessive brutality. She's been looking for a fighter who can match her strength. Her first fight with Yuka ended in her stripping of her own accord and winding up friends with Yuka. Jun is very honorable and is always up for a fair fight. To her, weapons are an unfair advantage.

Kaori Yanase

Kaori is Reimi's long-term rival. They've worked together a few times, and they may be friends on occasion, but Kaori is determined to beat Reimi. Reimi is intrigued with the idea, often teasing Kaori that the dark-haired girl's body is developing nicely. Well, they say people pick on the ones they like the most.

Chiho Masuda

Chiho is a traditionally trained fighter. She's knows a lot of Ninjistu tricks and is among the most dangerous fighters in hand-to-hand combat. She uses a pair of claws, adding to her threat potential. Chiho doesn't have much angst in her life, but she does desire to break away from her employer and live her own life, and to do that, she has to win the VG tournament. She battled Satomi Yajima, who was under some really strong mind-control drugs, resulting in Chiho getting her butt stomped.

Advanced Variable Geo 2

Tamao Mitsurugi

Tamao is the person Advanced Variable Geo 2 is focused around. From what I've seen, she idolizes Yuka and like Yuka, has tons of potential. No one is quite certain where she comes from, but a movie that I've seen suggests something... peculiar.

Kyoko Kirishima

Kyoko enters the tournament for one reason. To bring Chiho back into the fold. Sorta like the Mafia. She know Judo and is no doubt trained to counter-act Chiho's style. Not much is known about her.

Saki Shindou

Saki is sorta like Iori Yagami of King of Fighters fame. Only, she doesn't bother with flame powers. She attacks with her bare hands, sending any and all fools in her path to the graveyard. She's after Yuka and Reimi for some reason. Perhaps, she seeks to show herself to be more powerful than both of them?

Miranda Jahana

Miranda is Reimi's mother. She's a brutal fighter and used to beat her own daughter to try and get her stronger. Poor Reimi. If anyone can find a picture or a screen shot of her from the VG video, I'd appreciate it. Or better yet, send me an html link.

Material

She's a little girl. That's all that's really known. Perhaps a genetic experiment?

My Own Characters

Yuki Asamiya

Daughter of the early VG champion, Mariko "Typhoon" Asamiya, her skills are mostly ground-based, though her jump-kick is rather powerful. Her endurance and solid defence make her a difficult foe, but she prefers to hold a position as much as possible rather than run around. The only time her defenses are lowered are when she building or tossing a Blood Wolf Howl (a concentrated rolling ball of energy that only agile people can dodge effectively) or when she's charging a foe. By the way, no, I did not make that picture.

Azumi Asamiya

Azumi is Yuki's little sister, hell-bent on proving that self-made styles are just as powerful as the traditional ones. Unlike Yuki, she has been living off of the family fortune, patiently waiting and training for the inevitable fight between her sister and herself. She seems to know something about the tournament, but is keeping it to her smug little self.

Mariko "Typhoon" Asamiya

Mariko was the reigning champion of numerous tournaments. Her style was ranked among the most devastating one known to humankind. Her techniques were mostly ground-based, but she knew how to compensate for opponents who often took to the air. She reigned as the VG Champion for four years before being dethroned by Miranda Jahana. The following year, Mariko was murdered during the final match of the VG tournament.

Erica Diamond

Erica's first name actually was inspired by a daytime soap, but I can't rememeber which one. Her appearance is not critical in the current VG timeline, but she might return. Whims of a fickle writer and all. She's a boxer, which means no kicking out of her. If someone would like to donate some fanart or conceptual drawings of Erica or someone who resembles her description in Chapter 2 to this pathetic page, you will be credited for your efforts.

Maya Ibuki

Put in as part of an ongoing inside joke. Don't expect her to return.

Rei Hino

Also put in as part of an ongoing inside joke. Don't expect her to return.
