Yaten is one of the Sailor Star lights. He and his two brothers (Seiya and Taiki) are a band known as the Three Lights. Though it is only a cover up so no one figures out that they turn into girls and become Sailor Senshi. Yaten is a pain in the but. He's very obnoxisious, and rude at times.
