My Death

by Jenevivu

Dear Journal,
I sit here, watching over them, day and night, but still, there is something wrong. I have been praying to the Kami-sama, and meditating, trying to find out what on earth is happening to us. My efforts have yielded nothing. The only thing that I know is that something is calling to us all. Something with sweet deadly music, Something that I can not control, or fight. And I know that it is almost the end.
I have no complaints about my life, I have lived for much longer than an ordinary person would, and I have been able to do much to help, and to harm this earth. I would not give any of my memories away for anything, not even the bad ones. I am writing this so that if it is read, I may warn my people, and the troopers.
The Troopers, even now, without their armors they are powerful, They have a great strength within them, and even though I know that they wish to have nothing more to do with the fighting or the pain, I have faith that they will vanquish this foe with skill. They are such great warriors, and they must never be allowed to fall. You must help to protect them at all costs. I only wish that I could fight at your sides once again. Whatever it is that is threatening our worlds is very powerful and you will need a guide. I wish that guide could be myself, however there is nothing that I can do to change my fate.
If it is in my power once I am gone, I will try to pass Kaosu's wisdom on to another . . .

The three men paused for a moment looking down at the page, There was a huge ink stain where it seemed the pen had broken. Anubisu finally turned the page and they read on

Please forgive the blotch that is on the previous page. I know now what we are up against, rather who we are up against. Arago is back, he is nore dangerous now than ever, you must destroy him, otherwise the is no hope left for the earth.
I can feel the end coming, it is cold, I almost feel as if I am floating. I will now say goodbye to all of you, Anubisu, Naaza, Rajura, and I ask that you please say farewell to the troopers when next you see them.
12:20 am, Kayura

The firelight played off of their solemn faces as they tossed the old journal into the pyre. Rajura smiled slightly, just a twitch at the corner of his mouth. Naaza still looked stern and serious, amd Anubisu actually looked almost sad.
A fourth man stepped out from the shadows with a smile upon his face. He placed a hand upon the Yami Masho's shoulder. Long silver-white hair shimmered in the fire light as he led his Masho away and back to Youjakai.
