Nightmare

A poem by Jenevivu

The dark is not so bad,
when you've got no place to go,
no bumping into things,
just think of what you know.

And you dont need to see it,
if you know that it's there,
the dark of ages hits you,
and you dont even care.

And nothing more can hurt you,
when you're trapped inside your shell,
and the winds outside that blow so cold,
cant touch you in our hell,
but dont dare think you're safe here,
cause you're trapped within _our_ spell.

One kiss and you'll be ours,
trapped here forever more,
The venom hits you painfully and,
you'll fall right through the floor.

Illusions that you can not see,
are trivial as smoke,
but _here_ the pain can hurt you know,
within the dark _we_ spoke.

And cries that echo in our halls,
shall fall on deafened ears,
within our crystal drinking glass,
we'll wash away your tears,
But dont dare think we'll comfort you,
cause we know all your fears.

So if you want to love us,
you had better be forwarned,
cause once you are within our halls,
your loss will not be mourned,
Deny us nothing in our halls,
for nothing's what you'll get,
excepting for the painfull sting,
of searing venom,yet

The darkness and the cruelty,
the venom of the snake,
Illusion or are you alone,
was that your big mistake?
but fear not we wont come for you,
cause now you are awake.
