Angel Sanctuary (or, in Japanese, Tenshi Kinryoku) is a manga by Kaori Yuki. Now, it has 10 volumns and does not end, yet. But, in my country, it just published for 5 volumes. I think the story I'll tell you will be just about the first 5, and the brief story about the last ones. ( since I can find it on the other pages.)
