College & University Filipino American
Student Associations FASA
(Filipino American Student Association) are college organizations whose goals
are to provide support for Filipino-American students and to increase
awareness of Philippine and Filipino-American cultures and histories on
campus around the country. Filipino
American Student Associations are in college and universities all over the
country. When students research for
the college of their choice they might also consider the strength of the
college’s FASA. Our
research has discovered some colleges support both FASA (Filipino American
Student Association) and Filipino Student Associations (FSA) The FASA
organizations are filled with activities, programs, fund-raisers, and a
very strong bond for the students and their cultures. You will find tond of information on these
FASA sites and most provide a contact email to ask additional
questions. Susie and I personally
emailed the association at Suggestion
for researching additional colleges.
Go to Google.com. Type in the
College of choice and FASA. Example: GOOGLE SEARCH: There is a ton of very good information out there for students
heading to college. We suggest you
get involved in an organzion for support.
