Who got me into YYH?:
My friend, 'Ian' (a girl), who actually forced me to watch. Since I've watched my first episode, I got hooked and I can't stop thinking about it.
Why is YYH my most fave Anime?:
Character Development. Unlike other animes, the characters here are so realistic. What I mean is that they react very realistically and they are very complex. The storyline is very rich and interesting. The villains are very realistic as well. It makes us think if villains really exist within the story.
Why is Hiei my favorite Anime character?:
Hiei is tough, silent but strong and very complex. He has a very dark past and there are a lot of mysteries surrounding him. Though he may act villanious, he is a true good guy inside. Also, because of his past and the dangers surrounding him, secrets are to remain secrets, which, unfortunately, may lead to more darkness in his life. He is a child of fire and ice, despised by others and looked down upon. Through all this however, he had survived. Near the end, there is an internal battle within him - should he should continue on or not? His quest for peace guides his path. His twin sister is his only source of strength. Only three things kept him going: to find his land of birth, which had cast him away the day he was born; his missing teargem which is one of the two tears his mother had shed when he was born and which had given him comfort during days spent alone; and Yukina, his twin sister who had searched for him when she found out that she had a brother who had been condemned to the cruel Makai outside the koorime glacier.
