Honshu smirked. They were so surprised at his power.

Ryu then came by his side. "What are you going to do now?"

Honshu's expression then darkened as he turned to Ryu with a glare. He had been hiding it for so long but he couldn't anymore. For the past two days, he had released so much emotion. Maybe he could get it all out now. The hell with the rules! The hell with his father! "I hate you."

Ryu's eyes widened at that. "Nani?"

"I hate you." Honshu repeated. "My father always cared for you more than me. Even if you're just his creation. I'm his son. He should have cared more about me. But he didn't so I hate you."

Ryu was confused. "Huh?"

Honshu didn't say anything else. He knew he had always been powerful than Ryu. His father had put Ryu ahead of him always though. "DIE!"

Ryu couldn't do anything as the strength of the attack overwhelmed him, knocking him dead.

All eyes turned to Honshu in shock. What a heartless bastard!

Slowly, Honshu stared at the four fire demons. "You still want to get out of this place?" he asked without expression. "Then sacrifice Hiei. I'll let the three of you go."

"Never!" Hikaru protested. "I'm never going to lose another child again!"

Honshu had an amused face. He then opened the gate back to Ningenkai and released the four demons from their captivity. But then, he immediately flitted toward Hiei, holding him with so much power. "Well, what are you
waiting for?" he asked the three other demons. "Go!"

Hiei squirmed from the strong grasp but couldn't get away. Why was Honshu so powerful? Honshu had so many powers.

The three demons didn't move to get out. Instead, they moved to go back to Hiei and Honshu.

"Leave!" Hiei cried.

"No." Hikaru said. "I will never leave you. I will never abandon you."

"Damn it." Hiei shouted. "Now's your chance."

Honshu made Hiei immobile and flitted to damage the other demons. Within a few seconds, he had harmed the three. He turned back to Hiei.

Hiei glared at Honshu full-force. Honshu had harmed them - his family; his people. As his anger escalated, he felt the kokuryuhaa burn the wards in his right arm. "Jaoh." he whispered. "Ensatsu Kokuyuhaa."

The black dragon came out and flew towards Honshu, breaking the invisible thread that had held him as well. The dragon swallowed Honshu as a loud cry was heard.

Hiei smiled. That was the end of that. He then went to the three fire demons. They looked weak.

Hikaru looked up at his son. "Kokuryuhaa? Black flames?"

Hiei nodded.

"I'm proud of you." Hikaru whispered as his breathing became ragged. "Those were legendary and unmastered for milleniums."

Inside, Hiei felt warm but it ended too quickly as he saw their condition.

Yurei looked at his side and saw Kajiko getting weaker. Kajiko was weaker than him so his grasp at life could slip away quickly. Slowly, he put a hand on Kajiko's chest and healed him.

A cough was heard. Hikaru turned to his new lover and his elder son. It was Yurei. Kajiko looked so much better now and now he was certain that he was going to survive. Carefully, he moved towards him.

Yurei accepted the embrace without hesitation. What could be better than dying in each other's arms? He nestled deep into Hikaru's shoulder and sighed. Both their lives were going to end soon. At least they got to
see Kajiko as well as Hiei one last time - safe and sound.

A deep and menacing laughter was then heard. "Do you really think that you can kill me that easily?"

Hiei turned his eyes to glare at the source of the voice. Honshu. He was still alive even after the kokuryuhaa attack.

"Didn't you know?" Honshu asked with a smirk. "That I'm a half-god."

Hiei's eyes widened. So Honshu was immortal? How would he ever beat the asshole?

"That's right." Honshu confirmed. "A half-god. Do you know why I'm so mad at you all?"

Hiei didn't answer but just glared at his enemy.

"Because I'm a half-god and half-youkai. My father screwed a youkai and I was created. And then I was sent here because halflings weren't accepted in other realms. I'm an outcast. And then, they killed my mother! Hikaru and
Yurei killed my mother! Everything should have been fine but they had to ruin it. Now, they have to pay."

"What does it have to do with me?" Hiei asked.

"Hiei, have you ever expereienced pain? Real pain? No, you haven't. Have you ever been uncared for by your own father? Had everyone looked at you as an outcast? No. Hiei, this is justice. Pain for you just as I had experienced it. Hiei, you don't know pain."

"Live my life and tell me if I don't know pain."

Honshu raised an eyebrow and scanned Hiei's memories. After that, he gasped. It had been terrible. More terrible than his'. "Hiei..." he whispered.

"That's pain."

"You, I can now understand." Honshu said softly. Then he turned to Kajiko. "But him?"

Kajiko saw Honshu flit towards him. He knew it was over now. His life as Kajiko, his life as Mikagami was coming to an end. It was over.

A bright light was seen but nothing happened to him. Kajiko blinked. Then he heard a gasp. Hiei lay sprawled in front of him, breathing his last breaths.

"Hiei." Hikaru whispered as he touched his son's hand. "My son."

Then his eyes closed.

"No." Yurei said as he looked at Hiei's soul. Not only had his life ended but his soul had also ceased to exist.
