Indian Recipe for Tandoori Shrimp 
	
 INGREDIENTS 
 
    
-  12 raw large shrimp (shells & veins removed)
 -  1 tsp fresh ginger (chopped fine)
 -  1/2 cup unsalted butter
 -  1 tsp chilli powder
 -  1 clove garlic (crushed)
 -  1/2 tsp kosher salt
 -  1 tsp ground coriander
 -  1 tsp ground cumin
 -  1/2 bunch cilantro (chopped fine)
 -  red food coloring (optional)
 -  bed of lettuce
 -  1 lemon (cut into wedges)
 -  1 green fresh chillis (de-seeded & chopped fine)

To prepare:
 
 
-  Preheat the broiler to high
 -  Transfer shrimp to a dish
 -  Melt the butter in a pan then remove from heat
 -  In a small bowl, mix the ginger, garlic, chilli powder, salt, ground coriander and cumin, chopped
cilantro and the red food coloring (if using)
 -  Mix everything well and evenly
 -  Toss in the shrimp and coat everything evenly
 -  Cook the shrimp under the broiler, turning once
 -  Arrange the shrimp over the bed of lettuce
 -  Garnish with the lemon wedges and chillies
