Singapore Recipe for Fresh Rice Noodle Snack (Chee Cheong Fun)
INGREDIENTS
- 500g twin rice noodles (chee cheong fun)
- 1 tbsp Chinese Barbeque Sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (toasted)
- spring onions (chopped)
- fried shallots

To prepare:
- First, cut the chee cheong fun into thins strips
- Pull all into a bowl and pour boiling hot water over them
- Cover and leave for 5 mins and drain
- In a bowl, mix the Chinese Barbeque Sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil and chilli sauce together
- Place chee cheong fun on a plate, pour sauce mix over
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and fried shallots
Alternatively, you can put the sliced noodles in a colander and steam for a few
mins till heated through.
