to Gendou Ikari, Supreme Commander of NERV and she is rarely expressive
when it comes to her feelings. Shinji Ikari, the son of Cdr.Ikari and third
children is seen often trying to break through to her in an attempt to know not only of her, but also about his estranged father, who seems to care more for her than for his own son.
