Mischief's Playground

In the depts of despair, in the sea of pain...Life has its tortures..with out gain. We all have our painful memories that linger in the dark.We all know the feeling of depression...but how to express them? Through poetry--that is how I show everyone....

Standing there

She stands there....weeping,
No one stops her from grieving,
Her tears roll down her face,
While her heart slows down it's pace.

She stands there in black,
Thinking of the one thing she now lacks,
In her mind are her sad thoughts,
She's remembering a love she hasn't forgot.

She stands there....alone,
No voice is spoken to her with a friendly tone.
The voice she wants to hear is not there.....
That is why she is weeping in despair.

She stands there...in sorrow,
Not wanting to live until tomorrow.
Her grief is too much to bear.
She wants to end it now, she doesn't care.

She stand there...waiting.
Not aware that she is slightly shaking.
Afraid she won't see him again...
For he was more than a friend.

She stands there, now ready to leave.
Until she feels a hand on her sleeve.
Turning around, she is unaware,
That he is her love, the missing part of her pair.

She stands there, holding his hand,
Happy now, she has her man.
they both leave now, content with what is.....
For she now knows that she is his.

The Sea

She called out to the sea,
"Wait, don't leave me!"
Frantically she waved her hands in the air.
Then stopped feeling everything, including despair.
Watching the sea, she blinked, her eyes filled with tears,
For the sea, the great sea, contained her deepest fears.
Young and lost loves left for it, and never came back.
Hers, her wonderful and only Love left, her Jack.
The waves so gently by her feet,
Were cold, and she felt nothing but defeat.
Her heart pounding, her mind a mess,
She yelled to the sea, "Tell me where he is! Confess!"
But all she heard were the gentl waves,
Sending her their thoughts and raves.
Frustrated she turned around and walked away,
Until she heard a familiar voice come from the bay.
She spun around, her heart beat so fast,
There, looking at the face, her lover at last.
She then cried out to the sea-
"Thank you!....for letting this be!"

Alone

Darkness closed around her, letting itself to cling,
She let out a cry, her arms starting to swing.
She couldn't move, she wouldn't dare...
She was alone, did anyone care?
She opened her mouth, starting to cry.
She thought, "Death is coming! I'm going to die!"
Black, dark, cold-was what she felt.
also, unbearable pain, which she delt.
Her heart slowed down it's pace.
Hopefully, she looked for a friendly face.
But she saw no one to comfort her, to offer a helping hand,
Someone to lean on, when she couldn't stand.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared,
The darkness left, along with her fears.
There to her astonishing surprise....
Was a person staring at her with friendly eyes.
She ran with hopes and dreams towards the light,
Leaving behind her loneliness and fright.
"You are never alone,"
That is what she heard from a voice with a caring tone.
She then smiled, something she rarely ever done.
And walked into the hands with warmth like the sun.

Me

Suffering, hurting, pain, and pride..
I am an endless failure..with nothing to show.
Bursting, lost, confused, and denied....
I am a lost cause, with nothing to live for.

I'm lost, in a puddle of misery, trying to swim to the surface.
Not to be found, to drown, to be left stranded in the endless sea
Woe is me, and pity is my companion along the road of torture.
To walk side by side, to endure the long journey.
Pain is the needle of my textured fabric of life....
Sewing the patches of hurt and despair together with its thread.
Chaos is my world, slowly corrupting...never to be rebuilt again.
It shatters the soul, it breaks the heart, it destroys my future.
Loneliness is the nightmare, I dream on and on.....
Engulfing my wishes, hopes and happiness.
Sadness is the highlight of the yearbook of mine..
Memories of this continue for ever..
I am an empty void without a soul...
Lost and never to be found again.
