The Singapore Polytechnic
was established in 1961.
Presently it consist of 3 main arts and culture groups --
Chinese Drama, Choral and the Harmonica Troupe.
The mission statement of the SP CLS is to promote the Arts and Culture in
Singapore.
Its motto 
refers to excellence in
Work, Learning and Health, Succeed and Fail as one.
We have at least 3 performances every year commited to the
promotion of arts and culture.
One of them is our Annual Culture Performance in March.
Weekly workshops on Saturday are organise by the students for the students.
The Chinese Drama does mime, physical theatre,
movement theatre, chinese drama, cross-talk and many more.
The Choral has expanded and its energy scope of
coverage into
and more.
The Harmonica Troupe has delved endeauoues
ranging from the strings to the percussion in the execution of harmonica
performance.
