Position: Point Guard/ Small Forward

NBA Player Alike: Anfernee Hardaway

Sendoh can play in any position except the center and power forward. His main job is to create shots for himself and his teammates. He is one of the best five in the province and the best small forward along with Rukawa.

Uozumi is a very strong inside player, but has a tendency of getting into foul trouble. He is also a poor free-throw shooter, and not affective beyond the 10-foot range. That is why he is only the second best center next to Akagi.

Position: Power Forward

NBA Player Alike: Michael Finley

Being the second best power forward, Fukuda can put up big scoring numbers. His quickness, jumping ability, and explosiveness make him even a better offensive player. However, his defense is his weakness.

Maki is one of the most complete players in Japan. Although he is tall, he dribbles and passes so well that he can play any position. He was chosen to be the MVP of the tournament. A very experienced player he is, and he brings leadership to his team. He can also play incredible defense. For the second year in a row, he is the best point guard.

Position: Shooting Guard

NBA Player Alike: Kobe Bryant

Kiyota is a high-flying dunker who dunks in anyone's face. His always wants to be the best rookie. However, he is always beaten by Rukawa. He is the second best rookie and the second best shooting guard.

Shoyo High School (翔 陽 高 校)

Number: 4

Position: Point Guard

NBA Player Alike: Gary Payton

Being both the coach and the leader of the team, Fujima carries the load on both ends of the floor and ranks second behind Maki for the best poin gurard. Therefore, he doesn't play unless his team is in real danger.

Number: 6

Position: Center

NBA Player Alike: Patrick Ewing

Hanagata likes to score points in a variety ways. He can score in a low post, with fadeaway, jump shots, or many different dunks. He is the third best center.
