Chiba Mamoru is Usagi's true love. He is the reincarnation of Prince Endymion, the Prince of Earth. When the evil Queen Metallia and her forces attacked the moon kingdom, Endymion left his kingdom so that he could help defending the moon. During the battle, both Endymion and Selenity were killed by Beryl, Queen Metallia's servant. Prince Endymion was reborn as Chiba Mamoru. Mamoru's parents, sadly, died in a car accident when chibi Mamoru was only six years old.
