The En light'n the Martial Arts awards were designed to recognize Martial Arts web site's that shine a bit of light on a particular aspect of the martial arts (as the title is trying to emphasize) and that contain high quality design.

The award will be given to Martial Arts web pages that meet the high criteria and that are selected by the judging committee. All nominations will be considered and notified by e-mail. The winners will be listed and linked on a special En light'n the Martial Arts "winners" page.

We greatly appreciate it if the award is linked back to the En light'n the Martial Arts home page and be placed either on the main page or the awards page of the winning site.

To be considered for this award the MARTIAL ARTS site must have:

-Educational content Enlighten your visitors (Martial Arts related).

-Content More than one page sites or just links to other sites.

-Good Design Pleasing to look at, easy to read text, good layout. Will any browser work? If not, the visitor should be made know of this fact.

-Team Spirit The site can focus on only one particular style, but it must not "put down" or insult any other style. "If you can't say anything nice.."

-No Under construction signs They look tacky and all good sites are always under construction.(no blank pages with coming soon on them.)

-Short loading times or warnings to the contrary.

-Updated Content and links.

-"G" rated No pornography or bad language.

-Some Original images (all would be nice)

-Spelling/Grammar No one is perfect, but effort must be shown.

-Contact information must be easy to find.

-Personal Web pages and pages that sell anything will be considered separately.
