Our anime club--I mean the one we're afflicated with isn't what it's all cracked out to be. I will be writing some drafts discussing some key factors that have made us no longer attend the meetings and screenings. But the short story is this: it is very impersonal, attending these screenings. Steroetypes built around white nerd anime Otaku appear fair. The screening sessions are long, almost 12 hours at times and can take the whole day away from you. What's more, just about any anime title that is shown comes to America a lot sooner than used to be. So besides trading fansubs, I either buy or record the videos I obtain.
