Slam Dunk is a popular Japanese Manga written by Takehiko Inoue. The story centers around Sakuragi Hanamichi, the red haired guy and the people in his high school basketball team, Shohoku. He got dumped by 50 girls in three years of his junior high school days. He joined the basketball team for the next girl he developed a crush for, Akagi Haruko, to please her. Being a layman at the game and naturally a quick tempered person, he gets into alot of trouble. However as he has a flair for the game and being a quick learner, he soon became a player not to be missed on the court.
