VI. Armament:
Cannon:
2 x Particle Beam Cannon:
The primary weapon for the Officer's pod is a pair of particle beam
cannons located on either side of the mecha. Each cannon fires 60 MJ of particle energy
up to 15 times/minute with great accuracy to long ranges. Can also discharge
at half-intensity but at double the normal rate of fire. Each cannon has a
maximum estimated range of 15 km. The cannons are
mounted in front of the mecha and can rotate 280 degrees horizontally and
360 degrees vertically. Drawing power from the mecha's power system,
the particle beam has effectively unlimited ammunition.
1 x Rakshasa
Medium Range Missile Launcher: The Officer's pod mounts a
single medium range missile launcher located in the 'tail' firing the
AAZM-1 Rakshasa
multi-purpose missile. This missile is designed for anti-mecha work with a
rage of 95 km with multiple warhead options. Their are 12 missiles ready to fire with
one reload for a
total of 24 medium range missiles. The armor of the Regult-Mar is composed of an advanced titanium-steel alloy. The armor stops all small arms and heavy infantry weapons fire, but provides only poor resistance to light mecha-mounted weaponry, such as the Zentraedi 22.3mm HE autocannon round, and virtually no resistance to medium mecha-mounted weaponry.
The Regult-Mar provides full protection from nuclear, biological, and chemical hazards, using a sealed cockpit environment. The internal consumables supplies can provide breathable atmosphere for four days maximum.
