Friendship Charms
(A
place for sharing and friendship)
"Fine words and an insinuating appearance are
seldom associated with true virtue."

When you have faults, do not fear to abandon
them."

(yout yee) This in
Cantonese means
friendship..^^ Friends are wonderful gems to
have and to find one
or more can be rare and special. We have met
many friends in our lives but
the ones that truly stay are the ones to be real
gems. Whether shine or rain,
smiles or frowns, they support us through our
experiences high and low.
Through my elementary days until now, I have
had my share of friends and
whether they are with me at this moment or
not, they still remain to be part
of me, my frienship footprint which carries me
forward to becoming my
present ME =)
May
all sentient beings open their hearts and eyes to be friends beyond the
boundaries of time and space, land, religion,
race and differences. May our
differences unit us and may we learn and grow
from them.

Here are some interesting friends: We are all the
same being,
we can all be best of friends!!
Sammi and Pip (Ryansan's
cat and doggie relaxing :)
Sammi is a beautiful plump
cat. She is calm and likes to sleep. A very gentle
creature who is diabetic :( She has her special cat
food and she is special in
her own way. She has a special way of eating too :)
Have you ever seen cats
eat by scooping out the food first with their paws?
This was an amazing and
beautiful sight for me to see.
Sammi and Pip by the door
(They just love each other's company :)
Pip is a very sweet dog
that likes his attention! Some of his activities he like
to do is go for walks and carry souvenirs home. Once,
when Ryan, Pip and
I went on a walk in the field, Pip found a giant bone
which he insisted of
carrying home even though he was huffing and puffing
:)

Leopard and cow
are 'friends'. It is very heart warming..^^
Who said that we can't be friends?
Wildlife officials in India
say a leopard has become friends with a cow. They
meet up every night and observers have seen the cow
licking the big cat's head
and neck. Wardens heard about it from villagers at
Antoli in Gujarat state.
Warden Rohit Vyas said:
"It was
unbelievable. They approached each other at very close proximity
and the fearless cow would lick
the leopard on its head and neck."
Mr Vyas said dogs in the
village started barking every night between 9.30pm
and 10pm when the leopard came. The forest department
decided against
trapping the leopard after realising it wasn't a threat
to the Hindus' sacred
animal. The Press Trust of India reports that villagers
are happy since
leopard's frequent visits to the village fields have
kept other animals away.

Vadodara,
May 12: In a rare case of predator-prey friendship, a leopard
coming to "visit" a cow at night has literally become
the talk of the town.
The incredible ways of the two animals at Antoli village
in Waghodia Taluka
of the district have attracted the attention of one
and all, including the wild life
activists. According to honorary wildlife warden Rohit
Vyas, who has visited
the village several times with other enthusiasts,
"the leopard has been visiting
the cow from October last year at regular intervals".
"After the villagers informed us about frequent visits
of the leopard to the
sugarcane field for its close encounter with the cow
in the field, our team
comprising conservator of forest H S Singh and others
including wildlifer
Manoj Thakkar and Kartik Upadhyay, visited the village
for verification",
Vyas told PTI here on Monday.
"It was unbelievable", he said adding, "they approached
each other at very
close proximity and the fearless cow would lick the
leopard on its head and
neck".
Giving further details about the animals-bond, Vyas
said "the dogs would
start barking when the leopard came to meet the waiting
cow every night
between 9.30 PM to 10.30 PM".
The Forest Department, which was trying to capture
the beast, gave up its
efforts after learning about the friendship. Moreover,
the leopard did not harm
other animals in the village and its visits have benefited
villagers as other
animals kept away from damaging crops in the fields
and crops yields went up
by 30 per cent, Vyas added. (from Vegan blog on net)
