Another big album cover for KellyChen's album! Her last album ( Love You So Much ) was only released a month ago before we saw the release of this new Cantonese album, this time with an even larger cover! Inside it contains a large double sided poster of Kelly and a sheet of paper of the same size with the lyrics printed all over it. It seems quite hard to find the lyrics to each song as they are all printed one after each other without a break. Nearly every song can be defined as excellent or great! The first 2 songs expresses the atmosphere of a live and active concert with an excellent beat of dance music, theres no doubt that these 2 songs would be used in her concert and hit top of the charts at the same time. The mandarine version of track 2 (Lets Dance- title translated to english) is just as good as the original cantonese version! The majority of the songs are the usual flow of love songs, however, much effort has been put into these songs, as a result they sound less boring, simply because they'er different! Especially the lyrics in some of the songs. A song that pulls he album down slightly is the Cantonese version of 'We All Love You'.
This may be the last album Kelly will be producing for Go East as everyone knows, Kelly may be moving to Sony instead. Nevertheless, I can feel confident in saying this is an excellent album and I would surely recommend you to buy it, especailly if you have been enjoying Kellys past song. |

This is Kelly's 1st CD this year. It is a whole new Mandarin album. The album cover gives a fresh spring and early summer feeling, it is also very eye catching as it stands out amongst the other CDs since the box is so big, just like a magazine cover! It also shows off Kelly's pretty face! However, the extra contents within the box is quite dissaponting, there is a pencil and a memo with black and white page, oh and grey too- how dull, plus there isn't even a picture of Kelly on it There are 10 songs all together but 2 of them are Kelly's old Cantonese songs (Care Too Much and True Feeling) which makes the CD a bit boring to listen to as those 2 songs were very popular last year and people have already heard those 2 songs many times already! The rest of the songs are quite good, especially the first one (Love You So Much) it is a slow love song which Kelly had spent 3 days and 3 nights trying to record it. This was because the composer of the song felt that she did not capture the special feeling of the song, lucky in the end Kelly managed to achieve this so call 'special feeling' he was looking for. But it might have been worth it as it has turned out to be a great song!
There are a few type of songs in the CD which you would not find in Kelly's previous Mandarin CDs, these songs include tracks 3 (Yawning), 4(We All Love You), and 5(Hey, Any One Out There?). They all sound very good and different to Kelly's usual songs. Track 6(Shhh!) is the rock song of the album , however I don't think Kelly has managed this one very well.
Overall I don't think Kelly has tried her best in this album, may be she has but I believe she is being too ambitious in trying to sing so many types of songs although she was sucessful with her first attempt of R&B music. |

This new album of Kelly Chen's is great! There are so many excellent songs! It is a great improvement from 'True Felling' (Her last Cantonese album released in March 1999). There are about 6 music videos on the VCD that comes with this CD. The other sections on the VCD is a brief guide to Greece as it is where the scenes for the music videos and CD cover is taken from. One of Kelly's deepest memory of Greece was the time she was steering a Speed boat. This was because she nearly crashed straight into a ship as she was trying to steer around. Luckily no one was hurt, she was able to dodge the boat. However the owner of the speed boat was very mad with her! For this CD she was going to try and change the lyrics to Utada Hikaru's song 'Automatic' again, but this time to Cantonese. But there wasn't enough time to do it in the end. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ,11 are the best!!!! Nicholas Tse composed a song in this CD too. It's another sad song, -track 8 on the CD. I would recommend any fans of Kelly Chen to buy this CD! |

This is Kelly first old and new mandarin CD. It consists of 16 songs, in which 2 of them are new. The older songs all range from 1995 to 1998. One of the new songs in this CD is a mandarin version of Utada Hikaru's 'Automatic', when Kelly was working in Japan she bought Hikaru's album 'First Love' and she found that the song Hikaru really suited her and wanted to include in her new album, and here it is! People who have heard the original version of Automatic should bear in mind that Kelly is singing the Mandarin version in her own concept. To difine the differences within these 2 versions I would say that Hikaru's version is the teenage love version and Kelly's, a mature love version. The other new song is 'Say You Love Me' there's actually nothing so special about this song, it's just like any other of her Mandarine love songs. Overall, all the other songs included in this CD are the best and most well known ones she ever had |
