How to Change ".gif" to ".mp3" (or ".zip") for Windows
First, open the folder where your downloaded mp3s are: Then, click on View, and go down to Options: A box should open up, click on the tab labeled "View" Unclick the box next to the phrase "Hide extensions," or
something similar, click Apply, then OK:: You should now be able to see the file extensions for your files: Right-click on a file, and chose "Rename": Now, delete the part that says .gif: Write .mp3 (or .zip, which ever applys to the file you've downloaded) in it's place, and push "enter": Click "Yes" if it asks if you're sure you wan to change the
extension: You should now be able to listen to (or unzip) the file you've renamed. Happy listing!! |
