What's TWO-MIX??

TWO-MIX is a JPOP group consisting of two members - One Girl and One Boy :). The lady's name is Minami Takayama. The gentleman's name is Shiina Nagano. They are very popular and their singles became hits in Japan. They organized their first group in 1990. It was called RE-X. Later after that, in 1992, Minami and Shiina with other people made a new group called ES_Connection.

Then, in 1994-1995, TWO-MIX was borned. The first single was "JUST COMMUNICATION" c/w SECOND IMPRESSION. After this 1st single, most of the TWO-MIX singles jump to the ORICON Top 10. In August 1995, TWO-MIX released their first album "BPM 132 ". "BPM" means "Beats Per Minute". So, as we can see (and HEAR :), speed and rhythm of their most songs is very fast. In the 1996, they released their second album "BPM 143" and after that "BPM 150MAX" was released.

Then, in 1997, they released their album "BPM "BEST FILES ". It was a compilation of some of their most famous singles. Recently, in December of 1998, TWO-MIX released the "SUPER 'BEST FILES' 1995-1998"-album. Also, in 1st January,1999 TWO-MIX jump to another CD company.(From King Record to Warner Music Japan). In May of 1999, they also set up a new company "LITTLE STATION". The chairman of LITTLE STATION is TWO-MIX's Shiina Nagano, and vice-chairlady is TWO-MIX's Minami Takayama

Their first 12 singles were recorded on this album + some other songs. The album was a huge success because it was a compilation of the best and most popular TWO-MIX singles.

As of now, TWO-MIX released about 14 mini and full albums
and their discography counts in oricon is 112 (total profit in 5 yr is ¥ 6,612,100,000) ^^

In 2000, TWO-MIX change thier name to TWO∞MIX(temporarily). Their First Single of TWO∞MIX is NAKED DANCE. You can use NAKED DANCE to dance. Because, this song is suitable for DISCO. And then, they also supervised 2 CD. They are Dance Infinity Vol.1 and Animpara, all of them is non-stop.(non-stop is TWO-MIX's strenghts)

In coming summer, They will release their new album "BPM CUBE" . It is a double-CD set and the first CD contains some of their famous singles in English versions. Disc 1 is contain some English Songs. All english song are rearranged and translated into English, also they most fo them come from TWO-MIX' CD (BPM 132, BPM 143, BPM 150 & Fantastix). Disc 2 is contain Japanese Songs, also include two new songs (BPM & Stance of Resistance). BPM CUBE will release on 9th August, 2000
