Destiny's Meeting
*~*~*~*CHAPTER FOUR: A Close Encounter*~*~*~*~*

No one was home thankfully as Yui and the twins rode up to her house. "You guys wanna come in?" she said once she hopped off Exinjeru's bike and took off the black bike helmet. Yui shook her head and brushed a hand through her longish hair. When she looked up, she found the two twins staring at her.

"Sure Yui-sama," they said in union. They had started to call her that after she told them the truth about the book. It made her  uncomfortable, but she daren't tell them that. Yui unlocked the front door and stepped in. The twins followed and closed the door behind them. Yui yawned and threw her jacket on the sofa that sat in the Hongou living room. 

"Make your selves at home you two," she said pointing to the sofa as she walked into the large blue and white kitchen " The T.V. remote is on the coffee table I think." 

" Yes Yui-sama," came the reply. Yui sighed and looked about the kitchen. A piece of yellow paper that was taped to the microwave caught Yui's eye. She walked over, peeled the paper off, then read it softly out loud.

" Yui, Mom and I had to leave for a week or so for business. I'll be in Sydney, while she is in Hong Kong. Sorry we didn't say bye, if needed call Grandmother for help and each of our hotel numbers are listed at the bottom. Lots of Love, Dad." Yui lent against the counter and place the paper down. A knock came to the kitchen door.

" Is everything okay Yui-sama?" said a voice, Yui decided it was Exinjeru's. She looked and locked eyes with him. She liked his eyes, they seemed to change colors. Sometimes they were an icy blue, others they looked almost golden. Unlike Nakago's cold blue, his held life, warmth, love, Nakago's eyes were beautiful but they didn't hold anything. His were empty, unfeeling, they didn't see Yui as anything less then a tool.

" Yui-sama! Yui are you all right?!" explained Exinjeru voice, along with a gentle shake. Yui looked up at him. 

"Ummm..Yeah I'm fine . . . just thinking," Yui said. Exinjeru let out of her shoulder and stepped back.

"You had me worried there for a second," he said. Yui managed a small smile then turned and opened the fridge door.

" Would like something to drink?" she said.

"Sure, what cha got?" 

"Usual, coke, tea, Dad's reason for coming home at night,"

"What?!"

"Never mind,"

"I guess I'll take the coke,"

" Kay . . . " Yui handed him two cokes. " Here."

"Thanks."

"Ummm . . . guys . . . " came Sei's voice. Yui and Exinjeru came out of the kitchen.

"What Sei?" Yui said. She noticed a light coming from the drive way. As she and the twins walked closer to the door, she could hear a car engine. Yui looked out a small window by the door.

" Oh no . . . " she whispered, then turned to the twins. " It's Miaka and Taka. You guy . . . they can't see you!" The twins looked at her curiously, but before they could question her. Yui had grabbed their hands and was quickly pulling them upstair to her room. " Hide here, don't talk, don't move, don't even breathe too hard." and with that Yui 
raced down the stairs.

By the time the knocked to the door had come, Yui had herself situated. She had her tea on the coffee table, her shoes by the sofa, and a book parted in the middle. She opened the door to reveal Miaka and Taka, Yui yawned and smiled at them.

" Hi, what's up?" she said. Miaka and Taka looked at each other then at her.

" Yui-chan . . . we are that is Taka and I, we saw you riding with those two guy this afternoon. You've been acting so weird lately," Miaka said. Yui forced a smile and leans against the door way.

" I'm fine Miaka, I didn't ride anything this afternoon, and I've just been a little stressed this past week that is all. There is no need to worry, I swear." A loud crash came from upstairs.

" WHAT WAS THAT???!" shouted Taka. Yui looked from Miaka to Taka * Damn it!* she shouted in her mind.

" The cat! I brought the cat a new toy the other day and she's been going crazy with. I'll go check on her," Yui said, then ran up the stairs.

Taka tapped Miaka on the shoulder once they had stepped in and closed the door.

"What is it Taka-kun?" she said. Taka pointed at the large rocker in the corner. There laid Yui's white cat playing with its tail. "YUI-CHAN!"

Yui ran into her room to find the twins covered with old board games, stuffed animals, and books.

" What happened?' Yui hissed. Exinjeru gulped and looked at his brother who had a blanket on his head.

" We kinda tripped while looking for a hiding place," whispered Sei. Yui sighed in frustration and looked her room. 

"Quick hide under the bed," she whispered, then can out of her room, shutting the door just as Miaka and Taka got there.

" Yui, the cat was down stairs," Taka said. Yui gulped, blocking her door with her body.

" WAS she? heh hee well she can be a very tricky little kitty ya know." Miaka stepped up to Yui, looking right into her eyes. 

" Yui-chan whatever is wrong you know you can tell whatever is wrong right?" she said. Yui rolled her eyes.

" Nothing is wrong with me Miaka! Did it ever come to you that maybe I'm just tired and don't feel like being all happy like you and your beloved Taka? Now if you'd kindly excuse me, I'm going to bed because I'm tired and have an English test tomorrow. You know the way out right?" she said icily. Yui didn't need Miaka and Taka poking around. She had found the boshi twins and Tomo. Miaka had all her seishi back, why couldn't she? Yui was going to find Nakago, and Soi, and Miboshi, 
and Ashitare and Miaka wasn't going to stop her. Miaka give Yui a hurt look then locked arms with Taka.

"Okay Yui-chan. See you later I guess," she said softly. Taka stared at Yui coldly then the two left. Yui stood in front the door breathing heavily till she could hear Taka's car start and leave the drive way. Yui felt the door open behind her, she twirled around to find Exinjeru 
there. 

" Oh Suboshi-kun!" she cried and fell into his arm sand started to sob. She did know why though, she guess it was because she felt guilty about Miaka, about all she had done to her and how she had just betrayed her again.

" Yui...." Exinjeru whispered and stroke her hair softly.

" What happened?" came Sei's voice. Yi felt Exinjeru shrug as he continued to hold her. She couldn't do anything else but sob and hang on two Exinjeru's shirt. Yui felt her whole body shake with each sob she let out.

" Hush Yui, it's okay . . . it is really. Please don't cry Yui . . . " he whispered in her ear. Yui finally stopped sobbing, but didn't let go of Exinjeru. She yawned and heard Exinjeru small laughed. Soon she fond herself on her bed * I'm so tired all of a sudden . . . * WAS her last thought before she dozed off.

Exinjeru and Sei watched as Yui slept soundly on her bed. Exinjeru sighed as he leaned up against the door way and jammed his hands into his uniform pockets.

"What now bro?" whispered Exinjeru, he eyes still locked on the sleeping girl. Sei shook his head, confusion clearly written on his face.

" We can't just leave her here by herself . . . " Sei said. Exinjeru nodded and turned to his brother.

" That's for sure . . . I still wish I knew what made her cry like that," he said. Sei nodded again and took a glace at Yui.

" I know . . . let's just stay here for the night . . . just to make sure she'll be okay . . . but what bout her parents?" 

" I read a little note Yui left on the kitchen counter, it said that her folks were gone for the week on business."

"Really? gwad . . . that is long time."

"No worse then our parents' Sei-kun."

" Jeru . . . they've been gone for the past two years...."

" Like I said no worse then our rents," Exinjeru looked over at Yui, " let's go down stairs so we don't wake her up."

"Kay . . . "

Yui sat up and yawned, she looked over at her clock. The bright red numbers flashed five P.M.. 

" Oh my GOD! I slept all day!" she yelled and hide her head under a pillow "Arrgggggghhhhh . . . " 

"Finally awake I see," came a voice, Yui decided it belonged to Sei.

" No, I'm talking in my sleep," Yui replied. A chuckle came from Sei's direction. Yui lifted the pillow and sat up. " Why didn't you wake me up?" she asked.

" We tried . . . bout six times," Sei said.

"Oh." Yui got up and walked to Sei, " You two been here all day?"

"Yeah . . . " he said. Yui sighed and brushed a hand though her hair. 

* Oh well * she thought and stood up. 

" Um. I'd kinda like to get dressed now Sei . . . " Yui said as she grabbed some clothes out from her dresser. 

"OH! ...sorry Yui-sama!" he said then raced out of the room.

Yui looked down at her coffee as she and the twins sat at the Hongou kitchen table.

" You say you found Tomo too?" questioned Sei in disbelief. Yui nodded and sipped that the streaming brownish liquid.

"Yeah. Like last week..I mean it had to be him. The physical features, the personality, everything was the same as Tomo," she explained. Exinjeru and Sei looked at Yui intensely, Exinjeru shifted in his chair a little.

" So we just need to find . . . Ummm . . . Nakago, Soi, and that wolf guy," he said. 

" Don't forget Miboshi," Sei added.

" But where do we start? I remember that before you found us Yui-sama, my dreams were becoming more vivid and clear then they ever were," Exinjeru said tossing his coke can into the trash. Yui sigh and leaned on her hand. 

" I don't know, I mean Miaka just kind of found her seishi by accident. I suppose we just need to look in the right places," she said. The twins nodded in unionized agreement.

" Where can we find them though?" Sei asked.

" I guess just look at their personalities," Yui answered shrugging.

" Hai . . . " said the twins. A silence came over the group, Yui and Sei sipped their drink, while Exinjeru tried to balance the salt and pepper shakers on top of each other.

" First..we have to find Tomo 'gain," Sei said. Yui nodded in agreement and put her mug in the sink.
"

 I suppose we should try the park . . . we might even find Soi on one of the down town strips," Yui said, smirking just a little. Sei and Exinjeru gave her curious looks.

" Why is that Yui-sama?" asked Sei. Yui smiled and grabbed her jacket from a coat rack by the kitchen back door.

" I'll explain it on the way there."
