Asuka's Plea (shame on you) then read it! This fanfic can be classified as
alternate reality since Asuka ran away after her mind rape, also bear in mind
that all the children are about 17 now. Well, on with the show.

Neon Genesis Evangelion-Adam and Eve: Chapter Two-Asuka's Return

The tears fell like glittering diamonds as Asuka fell to the floor. The
black box dropped, bounced twice, then lay still as she wept into her hands.
The note was lying next to her, the words now illegible from the tears. The
moon cast looming shadows across Asuka's worn face, years of pent-up sadness and
longing finally surfacing, making themselves known. Pale light
cascaded through the blinds filtering through the ring's jewel, making it seem
all the more beautiful.
Inside the black velvet box was a gold ring with a blue sapphire jewel,
she crept towards the box, as if afraid it would burn her. The trembling
fingers pried open the case, the moonlight showed her how valuable it truly was.
She loved him, she had known it for quite a long time...but never admitted it to
herself; but now, she knew what had to be done for both her sanity and her
heart. he was the bravest, most truthful boy she had ever known, loyal
and tender; now she must return the favor and face her past, the ring seemingly
had giving her courage needed. As she stood she lifted the box and note, laying
them to rest on top of her desk; opening the draw, she withdrew her old synch
hair clips, replacing them in her hair.
A knock. Startled, Asuka paced to the iron door having a faint idea of
who it could be. Opened, the door admitted a tall man dressed in a black suit,
white shirt, and black tie...Nerv security, section 2.
"Are you Asuka Langley Soryu?"

The dreams began again. As she slept aboard the NERV VTOL destined to bring her
back to Tokyo-3; Asuka's dreams were troubled. In them, Shinji was a man now,
taller than she was; they both stood on the umbilical bridge of Unit-02.
"Asuka, Unit two is ready for sortie, will you pilot it?" He had the
commanding tone of Gendo Ikari.
"Shinji why did you give me this ring?" Asuka was dressed in an entry-
plug suit.
"Because that was the only way to get you back here."
"So...you don't...love me?" Her eyes welled up with tears.
"Correct. You are only useful to me if you can pilot unit two." A sly
smirk from his chiseled features broke her defenses and she began to cry.
Sobbing she fell to the cold unyielding metal of the bridge with a clang. She
looked up at him again, but this time he wore glasses and had a beard. "You
disappoint me." He swiveled on his heel and walked out. "If you refuse, then
you are worthless."
"No! Don't turn into him!" She ran to him, tugging, tearing, and
grasping at his clothing. Sobs fell to the ground.
In the safety of the pressurized cabin, Asuka let out a soft whine.

The room was dark, empty, and enormous; a slight blue light filtered from
the representations of the kabbalic Systema Sephiroticum and the tree of life,
giving the room a deathly pale ominous tone. A man, slight in stature, treaded
across the expanse, Lt. Honturi, NERV security, section 2. Any man walking that
distance would be winded, however Honturi was used to making weekly jaunts to
the commander. He stopped one yard away from the heavy metal desk.
"Lt. Honturi report." A slight glint reflected from the ceiling bounced
from Gendo Ikari's glasses.
"The second child is currently en route to Tokyo-3, I have assigned three
squads to follow her as she enters the city." With an audible gulp he fell
silent.
"Excellent," the cold exterior was unwavering, "the second child must not
fall into SEELE's hands, she is too important." A dismissive gesture. Honturi
walked back towards the door. He had reached the door when the commander's
voice rang out, "Your orders are to protect her with your life, is that clear?"
"Yes sir!" A salute, then he departed back to the relatively calm
corridors of NERV. After the door had shut, Kouzou Fuyutsuki appeared from the
shadows; clad in his customary maroon NERV uniform, his tone held a thinly
veiled disgust.
"Are you sure manipulating the committee is a wise choice? The old men
still are rather sore about the Lance of Longinus..."
"It is of no consequence, the second child will soon be back in our
hands, giving us the opportunity to realize our plans." A slight smirk appeared
underneath the steepled fingers. Fuyutsuki shifted his weight from one foot to
the other. Gendo thought. Raising from
his desk, the supreme commander of NERV boarded the handrail elevator down to
Central Dogma.
"Fuyutsuki?"
"W, what Ikari?"
"You must go to the UN finance summit in Switzerland on Monday, I have
rather important business to take care of here." Slender fingers lifted the
tinted frames higher.
"What about the committee? If I should happen to meet Kihl or another
committee member there what-"
"You will tell him that everything is going according to schedule, and
that the second child is back at Tokyo-3 is that clear?"
"Crystal..." A frown creased his brow. With practiced stride Fuyutsuki
stalked back into the shadows of the office, leaving Gendo to ponder SEELE's
next move in silence.
"Yui, soon our plans will set into motion events that we started
seventeen years ago..." The slight ghost of a smirk returned as he descended
into Central Dogma.

He entered his apartment just as Asuka finished maneuvering herself on
the other side of the balcony railing. Seeing the one his loved and cherished
about to commit suicide, Shinji ran to the balcony only to be one inch too late.
Asuka's hair framed her body as she plummeted down four stories to the
unyielding asphalt below. He turned away, old thoughts of suicide flashed
through his mind; now was the time to die what else was there to live for?
However, a ghostly apparition of Rei Ayanami appeared to his left.
"Live for me Shinji-kun..." These words hit home, Shinji had spent the
last two years with Rei, and had learned that she needed emotional support. If
he committed suicide, it would drive her to suicide, a vicious cycle. He loved
Asuka dearly but had seen how much Rei needed him; they loved each other
platonically, brother and sister.
A picture of the two girls flashed through his consciousness, both were
dead, their bellies slit and their intestines displayed for all to see. Twin
daggers lay thrown aside. A shadow descended upon the bodies and Gendo Ikari
appeared.
"It's all going according to schedule." A glint from the falling sun caught his
tinted frames. White-gloved hands, concealing something, pushed the glasses up
the bridge of his nose.
Shinji screamed and awoke covered in sweat and tears. Gingerly he observed his
surroundings. A pair of panties and a bra were left on his floor, and it was at
this time that he realized Rei was next to him. In so many ways she was a
child, emotionally stunted, he cursed his progenitor for what he had done to
Rei.
Tenderly lifting his arm, he allowed the blue-haired teen to snuggle
closer to him, and it was in this warmth and tranquility that Shinji Ikari wept.

In a dark room underneath twenty layers of concrete, the SEELE council
met to discuss the situation of the second child. Only twelve bars of light
broke the darkness, the obsidian smooth finish of the monoliths reflected that
light onto the chamber's walls.
The twelve monoliths of SEELE were attached to the holographic
projectors, and each slab was connected to the main office of the individual.
Gendo Ikari and Kouzou Fuyutsuki were the only outside individuals to see the
true faces of the Human Instrumentality Committee and SEELE.
SEELE 08: "The second child will soon be back in NERV's hands..."
SEELE 01: "The Eve of the Scrolls..."
SEELE 05: "The final barrier between us and God will be shattered if she
cooperates."
SEELE 02: "Doubtless Ikari will take strong measures to ensure her safety..."
SEELE 03: "Futile. The puppet will only perform with the proper manipulating."
SEELE 11: "True, without us Ikari is nothing, if it weren't for us he would
never have the proper tools at his disposal."
SEELE 10: "Yes, but how will we use the puppet after we've cut its strings?"
SEELE 12: "The Lancae Longini...that was the only thing that kept Ikari in
line, now-"
SEELE 01: "The Lance of Longinus can be retrieved. The Only problem is when to
bring it back."
SEELE 04: "To enact our scenario we need The Mother, The Lance, and Eva Unit
zero..."
SEELE 06: "But we could use Eva Unit One and the replica."
SEELE 02: "That would be like asking Ikari to enact his plan."
SEELE 01: "This meeting is adjourned. The lance will return in one month, and
our scenario will be realized. This bickering will not accomplish anything,
Ikari is our enemy and we must eliminate him. SEELE will personally retake that
which was stolen."
SEELE 09: "Do you think that it's wise that SEELE take direct action? We could
manipulate the UN into-"
SEELE 07: "The mass production model Evas are entering the final configuration
phase."
SEELE 01: "Excellent, Ikari you will rue the day your scheme was hatched."

SEELE 09: "Kihl is hiding something from us..."
SEELE 10: "Yes, he seems too eager to destroy NERV and Ikari, he may be letting
personal bias influence his decision."
SEELE 12: "Kihl may hold power over the committee but we produce the raw
parts."
SEELE 11: "True without us, the project would fail."
^^^^^^SEELE 09-12 disappear, SEELE 01 and 05 reappear.^^^^^^
SEELE 01: "They think that we are helpless..."
SEELE 05: "None shall stand in our path, our only way to heaven."
SEELE 01: "So it is written so shall it be done."

Asuka disembarked on runway three. Misato and Rei waited at the end of
the terminal; Misato wore a brilliant smile, Rei wore a pale emotionless facade.
Asuka at first glance noticed the absence of Shinji; this made her second guess
the reason she came.
"Asuka!" Misato pulled Asuka into a bear hug, snapping several bones in
the process. Asuka grinned and bared it until Rei approached and offered a
greeting. The first child had filled in nicely, with the body of a supermodel
and the complexion of marble, any man would fall for her charms, and this put
Asuka on edge about Shinji. Sweat began to trickle down her neck.
"H, hi Misato, hi Rei." Asuka's eyes were downcast, gazing intently upon
the design on the carpet. "Where is Shinji?"
Misato shut her mouth quickly and decided that telling Asuka about Shinji
and Rei living in the same condominium was not a good idea. "Well he had some
things to do today, but enough about that, welcome home!"
Asuka ground her foot into the carpet. "Yeah, I'm home."
"Well as your superior at NERV it is my duty to brief you on what has
happened since you left."
"Hai..."

The car sped down the highway doing at least ninety miles an hour, slow
for Misato. The countryside displayed showed how much had changed since Asuka
had left trees once destroyed now had grown back. Tokyo-3 had been a lake after
the explosion of unit 00, but after three years of hard work and skill, it was
rebuilt as the fortress of humanity.
Misato gave the girl, no woman beside her a look over. Asuka's body had
thinned out in places noticeably the waist, while her legs had gotten somewhat
longer. Her auburn hair once burning red now was subdued, her breasts had grown
larger and her face looked almost angelic. Looking upward Misato saw the red
synchronization clips, a momento of her two-year stay in Tokyo-3. Misato thought as she observed how quiet and forlorn the youth
looked.
Asuka gazed out the window noticing how young the trees looked, no more
than saplings. Asuka let those thoughts fade away as she imagined how Shinji would
look. A blush beamed out from her cheeks, Misato noticed this but did not
mention it; Rei saw this and decided that it was not the right time to tell
Asuka about her feelings. After living with Shinji for two years nothing had
happened after the first time...
^^^^^^FLASHBACK^^^^^^
"R, Rei?"
"What is it Ikari?" They sat on the couch in Shinji's living room. Rei
had just moved in.
"Do you have any feeling towards me?" He fidgeted.
"Y, yes I do." A slight blush rose to her cheeks.
Shinji eased himself closer to Rei and took her head in his hands. He
really had amazed himself with this courage, he did not know what hit him, and
suddenly he wanted Rei sexually. Seeing the look of bewilderment on Rei's face
he began to second-guess himself, until Rei closed her eyes. /Gulp/
Rei looked in amazement at Shinji, millions of emotions swirling to the
surface, she wanted him. His eyes seemed like the most gentle, most caring she
had ever seen. Even the look in Gendo's eyes after he had saved her from Unit
zero's entryplug paled in comparison. A hot breath blew across her face, his
breath. She closed her eyes.
Shinji bent his head closer to Rei's face, his breath hot. He was really
going to do it... Rei opened her eyes after feeling Shinji's lips brush against
hers. Their eyes met, his deep blue, her penetrating red. Their lips locked
together, a movement that caused lightning to course through their bodies. In
that moment Shinji realized how much he needed Rei, and Rei saw how dependant
she was upon him. With a quick stroke of his hand Shinji lifted Rei into his
arms and walked towards his bedroom...

Rei quivered as she remembered, one of the only joyous events in her
life, this memory was kept buried in her heart. After the first time Rei and
Shinji had shared a platonic relationship, and kept their first a secret.
Misato had questioned them for a week afterward about their improved synch test
scores, but stopped after they returned to normal. Rei felt no jealousy towards
Asuka, she considered Shinji a brother not a lover, and he deserved Asuka. The
thought of Shinji and Asuka together caused Rei to smile.

Sorry but there won't be any meeting until next chapter, the suicide scene of
Asuka was inspired by The Gospel Of Malachiel (I think) although I don't know
the author's name (If anybody knows please e-mail me I like to give credit where
