Lady Lin is the emperor's favorite wife for now. (JK!) The emperor has 25 wives in the palaces but who knows how many he has outside of the palace. (Zi Wei's mom for one.) Lady Lin is kind hearted, nice and super friendly. She liked Swallow the first time she met her. Basically she is the opposite of the Empress. Lady Lin is the one that helped Zi Wei get in the palace as a maid to Swallow. (She did this without knowing that Zi Wei is the emperors' really daughter). Lady Lin is the one that I guess in a way brought up Yong Qi. Yong Qi's mom died when he was little (Yong Qi or Wu A Ge's mom is also one of the Emperor's wives).
