Weary, travel-worn, but still kicking...

It's not far off from a two year mark since I've touched the Nexus. Trials and real life are a bother, at that, but as I've said before, you can read all about that on that nifty journal. For those interested in browsing the memory section, you'll find that there's useful/useless bits concerning fiction and gaming floating about.

But to business.

I quit. Yeah, that's right. I'm giving this whole farce a rest. I've found I can't keep it up; the constant writer's block, the ideas that nearly everyone follows, the deadline demands that conflict with real life goals...it's just too much. So this is my farewell, I'm hanging up my pencil and notes, and finally killing this horse, like I should have when I graduated.

But if you believe any of that, I've a couple plots in Manhattan, going REAL cheap. ^__^

I couldn't quit fiction if I wanted to. Granted, my drive isn't like those more phenominal authors, professional and fanfiction, that I've met, but it's there. Here's the proof:

For the vignettes (note: I've learned a new word. ^^) that I lovingly call CHIBI, there are several to enjoy. While I've not been able to focus on AWANP, or the other, like I'm supposed to, I HAVE churned out a new series short based on Breath of Fire I think you'll all enjoy. And if ya' don't, feel free to tell me why. Heck, I even went and did a couple more revisions of my older pieces. Candlelight should look a bit more spiffy, now.

There IS something I have been giving thought to, and that's moving. Yes, I've threatened before, but that just means that I'm serious(ly a bad procrastinator). Hopefully, I can start that process in two months, should I find adequate spacing at affordable prices... Actually, I have a spot already picked out, I simply have to go and put it in the budget.

So there you have it. I'm not dead. Quite the contrary, I have a good number of years left to wear myself thin, and I'll do my best to make sure those years be spent the way I want them to, with lots of hot girls doting over me...er, I mean, writing fiction.

Keep an eye out for this spot next month. I'll surprise you. ^__^

EDIT 6/14/04: http://swisscheese.sandwich.net/ My new home. All updated work will be placed there from now on. I'm not sure what I'll do with the Geocities space, yet, but I'll think of something.
