Kamshisha Stood looking out at the sea from the able beach.  She smiled sadly to herself as she let out a soft sigh.  A bird flits past and her thoughts echo the turbulent Sea.  Memories filter across the screen of her mind.  A tear falls silently down her cheek to join the salt water of the sea.  Slowly another tear slips down the other cheek unchecked.

She is 4 Deochs old and sitting on the knee of a young woman.  The woman is telling her a sad story.  One she wouldn't realize was hers till much later.  The story is of a young couple a Priest and his wife a Rogue.  The pair had a young girl child and loved her very much.  The girl child was still an infant when tragedy struck her family.  More tears slip unchecked into the sea at the memories.

The soft sound of foot falls intrude on her ears and she quickly brushes the back of her hand across her face.  She turns to see a young woman before her.  "Greetings" she smiles and the smile almost reaches her eyes.  The young woman replays back "Greetings Kam.  I am glad to have found you.. Will you Assist me in prayer?" Kamshisha truly smiled this time and nodded "Of course Lybrae.  I am always happy to assist.  Shall we go to the Glioca Temple in Mileth?" Both girls walk to Mileth and enter the Temple.  Once inside the girls are greeted by many Probates, Worshipers, Acolytes, Priests and Priestess, and a few of the higher members in the order.  Lybrae began to pray and Kamshisha assisted praying to the Goddess Glioca for Lybrae's success. After a short time Lybrae had finished and turned to Kamshisha and whispered.  "What were you doing when I found you?"  Kamshisha leaned in and whispered back.  "Lets go back to the beach and I will tell you."  Both girls leave the temple of Glioca with many fare thee wells and blessings of the Goddess.  They walked back to the beach and once there Kamshisha pulled out a parchment scroll signed and sealed by Riona.  The scroll was open and she handed it to Lybrae.  Lybrae took the scroll and read it over carefully.

Lybrae rolled up the scroll and looked to her friend and cousin.  "I am sorry Kam.  I had no idea they were gone."  Kamshisha smiled softly, "its okay, That is not what I was doing.. but that has been the one thing that triggered memories. "  Lybrae listened quietly as Kamshisha related what seamed to be bothering her.

For all of my life I have known that my parents had been killed.  Why or how I was unsure until i was around 10 deochs old.  My father was a Priest of Cail and my Mother a Rogue and Glioca Acolyte.

They had met at a mass and soon after fell in love.  They were joined as lovers and within a deoch were married in the Mileth church.  Mother became pregnant with me soon after and one of their good friends was in danger so they took off to help him. I was born shortly after that and three weeks after my birth they got word that this same friend was trapped in the Pravat Cave.

They went to help him and they freed him but the Goblins came after them The were exhausted and tired with low will and looked up in front of them was a home warm and inviting.  They left the bundle they had guarded with their lives, there on the doorstep.  Hoping that one day they could return but knowing that might not be possible.

The husband of the home opened the door and heard a soft gurgling.  The woman of the house was not far behind him and also heard the sound.  She brushed past her husband and picked up the small bundle bringing it in the warm house.  The husband complained that it was another mouth to feed and the wife told him she would hear none of it.  She cared for the child as if it were her own two days later a guard came to the home and informed them that the child's parents had been found slashed to death not far from the town of Piet.  They had been trying to lead the Goblins away from the child.  The guard left and the Wife and Husband knew they would take care of the child.  They knew who she was then, and knew that she was Kamshisha Tami.   Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Endy Tami.  Born in Mileth before Deoch 8.

The woman spent many hours tending the young girl she would tell her stories and they would do house work together when the young girl began to show signs of intelligence, the wife knew she was not mundane.  By her fifth deoch she had once again lost a mother this time to child birth.  She had lost her baby sister too.  Her older brother whom had been jealous of the child since she had been brought into the home was glad.

The father and brother together began to lay about leaving all the work for Kamshisha to do and she did it without complaint.  Knowing all the while the adoptive mother would not want her to abandon them.  By 14 deochs food was hard to come by and when they did have food the men would eat most of it and leave her little.   By 16 deochs she couldn't stay any longer.  She waited till they  were asleep and sneaked out.  She ran all night to the east woods there she hid for 2 moons.  By the morning of the second moons waning she had been bitten by a viper.  She knew she had to find a priest.. she had to go back to Mileth.  She dragged herself to the Glioca temple steps and passed out.

Some kindly old priest took pity on the broken young wafer-thin- child and healed her.  He took her to the Mileth Inn and there He paid, for her, a room to stay.  Then he too was gone out of her life and the whole time she didn't really know if it was a dream or what.. The very first night at the Mileth Inn she had a dream.  This dream seamed real.. she met so many people a few mundanes and even had a spell cast on her.. When she woke she felt strange and noticed a bright light swirling about her.

Could it be that she was an Aisling?

The adoptive mother had told her stories of special people who were known as Aislings.  She dressed quick and ran down to the Inn keeper who happened to be a friend of the family.  Once there she began relating the story and the woman told her she was a Aisling.  That she needed to find a guide right away.  The woman had been getting ready to summon the girls family but changed her mind once she heard the story.

Kamshisha Tami walked out of the inn and followed the path that the woman had described all the way to the temple of choosing.  There she met a man named Drind.  He noticed her spark and smiled.  She smiled back and with a shy voice asked him to Guide her.  He said "the priest hood is a lonely path to follow and not full of glory." then he asked her why she wished to be a priest and her reply was that" a Priest heals people and spreads light, and I too want to spread light in Temuair."   He accepted and guided her then he took her to Devlin's in Mileth and there taught her a few things to survive on her own.  "fien is a waste of you will and time when the regular spells themselves work just as good if not better and faster." she nodded and listened to him.  She was soon armed with knowledge and he said to her " go hunt and raise her insight." All this was in the summer of Deoch 18 and he regided and mentored her in summer of Deoch 20.

After Drind left her she walked about the town of Mileth talking to a few Mundanes as she talked to them she was able to remember what they said and she began to collect knowledge.

She talked to a wizard known as Dar.  He told her about the crypt.  Keeping in mind what he said and what her guide had said she went to the Crypt in hopes of finding a party to hunt with.  Armed with only a Dirk and her first spell "Beag Ioc" she began to enter the dark halls of the Crypt.   She ran into a rat and after a small battle she had killed it.  As she had killed it she looked up to se a young Wizard not far from her.  He was trying to kill a spider.  His name was Unifex.  The spider was spitting venom at him and Kam cast her first spell.  She cast Beag Ioc on the little wizard.  He killed the spider and thanked her for her help.  She smiled softly with a slight blush and quietly told him he was welcome.  He then asked her if she would like to hunt with him and she accepted.  They hunted a while in the darkness of the Crypt.  Soon Unifex talked her into venturing into the East woods. Once in the woods they met a warrior.  No names were ever exchanged.  The two new friends helped this warrior.  Kam helped the two men as the wizard and the warrior killed Vipers and Bees.  Mantis like beasts  would come and though they tried to kill them they mostly ran from them.

Kamshisha hunted with Unifex often.  When her insight was 9 Unifex and Kamshisha met another Priest.  Her name was SacrletAngel.  Scarlet took the two of them on the Terror Quest.  They Slew the Terror of the Crypt in the fall of Deoch 20.  SacrletAngel became a part of their hunting party.  When Kamshisha was insight 10 Scarlet mentioned that Kamshisha should find a Faith.

Finding a faith intrigued her and Kamshisha asked Scarlet how she would go about this.  They went to the Temple of Glioca just outside of Mileth.   There Scarlet told Kamshisha to speak to Meaveen, to ask her about the Gods of Temuair.

Kamshisha Listened and believed that her own mannerisms would serve the Goddess Glioca the best.  She became a Glioca probate that very day.  Soon after she became a worshiper.  To become a worshiper she had to take a test.  The test was made up of two simple questions. Why did she wish to be a follower of Glioca?  And did she promise to always show compassion to other Aislings as well as Mundanes?  Her answers seamed to satisfy..... and she was made a Glioca worshiper.  By insight 12 she ascended to Acolyte.  She had met a priest named SpongeBob before she had ascended to Acolyte.  Shortly after he introduced her to a beautiful rogue named Lybrae.

Kamshisha pauses in her story to smile softly at Lybrae then continues on....

Kamshisha like this girl instantly.  Later they would find out that Lybrae's mother was sister to Kamshisha's very own birth mother.

When she reached her 16th insight SpongeBob told her he was having his first mass.  She entered the Glioca Temple and was a bit nervous there were several people there and the only ones she knew were Lybrae and Bob.

It was at this mass that she would meet for the first time her future husband, and the one man who would forever steal her heart.  Mass was cast and SpongeBob introduced her to ChoArrim a master priest.   Bob also introduced her to Lakrumos.  Bob and Lakrumos left shortly after the mass and service but both Lybrae and Kamshisha remained in the temple.  There they sat by each other, and across from the handsome master priest.  Kamshisha whispered to Lybrae how cute she thought he was.  Lybrae had agreed.  Kamshisha began to ask ChoArrim questions.  He was friendly and nice.  He answered each question and made sure he told her the answers so she could understand.  She was even more drawn to his kindness and intelligence.  Once again she whispered to Lybrae how she was taken by him and how he drew her interest.  Lybrae told her how ChoArrim was married.  She still couldn't help but fall in love with him just a little.

She never told him and saw him briefly from time to time.  She still asked him questions and he was kind enough to answer them.  She very often felt like a pest.  She tried to fight her feelings however each time she would meet him or talk to him her heart would lurch.  A few weeks after the mass she was in the Glioca Temple when Lakrumos entered.  They talked briefly and she assisted People in their prayers Praying to Glioca for their success.  She herself made a special silent prayer.  She prayed to Glioca for protection not for herself but for the man she loved and for the people he cared for.

For weeks following she would be in the temple helping as she could and Lakrumos would come into the temple.  Daily they met and would talk.  They formed a kind of friendship.  Lakrumos was kind and gave her items and money from time to time, he also answered some of her questions.  She thought he was cute.  He could make her laugh, and he was very helpful.

Lybrae got married and Kamshisha felt bad that she missed the wedding.  Kamshisha met Lybrae in the Glioca temple a few short days after Lybrae's wedding and the two of them began to talk.  Kamshisha told Lybrae how she bumped into Omner, the man who performed Lybrae's wedding.  Kamshisha also told Lybrae how she had voted for Omner because he was kind enough to relate how the wedding went.  Lakrumos entered the temple and listened to the two talk.

Lakrumos Surprised Kamshisha by asking her to marry him.  She was shocked that he asked at first.. but when she thought about it, she realized he was kind and sweet and a good friend.  She said yes believing that the man she loved was out of her reach.  The wise choice was the one she made... Marry a friend.  Someone she knew she could trust.  One season later She had reached insight 20 and they were married in the Mileth Church.  Deksar performed the ceremony.  BlueSkies a close friend and Lybrae were her Maid and Matron of Honor.  BlueSkies had decorated the church as a gift to Kamshisha.  StarGazar, Dedded and his wife, Minoko, Venusx were a few of the guests.  Drind came to the reception at Able beach.  There he showed off his new spell, putting all the guests to sleep.  He kept picking on Lybrae and placing her under the spell.  Kamshisha tickled him and requested he stop.  He did and the dancing began.
Wedding Reception

A few short days after her wedding Kamshisha found out that the wife of the man she still loved had divorced him.  She had left him for another man.  She immediately had several emotions.  The first being anger at the woman for hurting such a wonderful man, and causing him great pain.  Then she too felt hurt because she could see his pain.  She knew how much he really loved his ex-wife.  Several weeks had passed since the wedding and Kamshisha saw her husband for only a few moments.  She began to hunt with a new friend,  Kaysin was a charming young rogue.  She happened on him in the Crypt.  He asked her kindly to help him and his friend Kaiode.  She nodded and healed them as the two hunted.  She learned much and gained two insights in one Temuairan day.

ChoArrim would talk to Kamshisha from time to time and one day Kamshisha asked him to come with her to the Medhi swamp.  She and Lybrae and a few other people were going to  get a Seveti flower.  Much to her surprise ChoArrim agreed.  She was nervous the whole time but she never felt more safe than when he was with them.  He helped her through and she picked the flower then opened the enchanted scroll taking her to Ruc.  She quickly went to Loures to give the flower to the sick child.  She was on her way back to Mileth and the Temple when she bumped into ChoArrim again.  He gave her a Golden flower and told her it was for remembrance because she was so kind.  She wanted to cry but didn't she held her emotions in check and thanked him for his kind words and his help. She then went to the bank not wishing to lose this special flower and identified it herself then placed it into the bank.  She would never loose it nor would she ever use it.

ChoArrim came with them one more time to the swamp and to get a flower.    She wasn't as nervous this time but she felt just as safe.  He showed her and Lybrae how to protect themselves through the most dangerous part of the swamp.

 One day Kamshisha inside the crypt entrance and talking to Syruss the man who was in love with her younger cousin, Abyka.  When a strange man came up to her and asked her to fight in the Arena.  She told him no very politely and he left her for only a few moments.  He returned and began annoying her.  She tried to ignore him and he went away.  She and Syruss entered the first level of the crypt to test out a theory and the annoying man came back to her and once again asked her to battle in the arena.  He tried to coax her by saying he was only insight 11 and Kamshisha didn't want to battle anyone.  That isn't her way.  Syruss knew the man was insight 60 or better because of the boots he had been wearing.   Kamshisha went down a level forgetting the theory they were trying to test, and the annoying man followed her.  When she once again said no a bit more forcefully this time he turned to bother other Aislings.  She had whispered to ChoArrim how she was being annoyed by a strange man and ChoArrim had told her to go lower into the crypt.  She told him she had and then stopped whispering him cause she had returned to the other level in the Crypt and looked for Syruss.  She found him and they began to talk again when that annoying man came up to them again.   She turned to him and told him to leave her alone.

Just then a young Aisling walked by and the man went to annoy him.. Suddenly ChoArrim was there.  ChoArrim confronted the Annoying man and told him to grow up.  Kamshisha felt very nervous and yet excited.  ChoArrim had come to her rescue, like a knight in shining armor,  and yet she was afraid for his well-being.   Syruss could do nothing but laugh as the annoying man told ChoArrim he could beat him.  ChoArrim said fine he would fight in the arena and warned the man that he was able to place a sleep spell on him  the stranger went on how his friends could beat ChoArrim.  ChoArrim told him to grow up and stop picking on women and especially kind ones like Kamshisha.  The man continued to rant on how he could beat anyone but with his friends help.  Syruss was laughing cause the man was not willing to battle a master by himself.  Kamshisha couldn't move for a moment but when ChoArrim told her to go she did.   She went up to the entrance again and didn't want to be too far away.  She knew ChoArrim could take care of himself but she still worried.   When ChoArrim came to the entrance the man who the trio thought was an idiot followed him.  ChoArrim looked at Kamshisha and whispered the word Temple.  Kam knew what he meant and nodded then immediately made her way to the Glioca temple.  ChoArrim followed.  They entered the temple and stayed there whispering to each other.  Soon ChoArrim was called away and Kam met up with Lybrae.  Kam was so excited that he had come to her rescue she was bursting to tell Lybrae the story.

She did tell Lybrae the story and Lybrae listened.  Then Lybrae mentioned that Kam must not have heard the rumor.  Kam didn't understand and begged Lybrae to tell her.  Lybrae sighed and then told Kam that She had overheard that ChoArrim had been recently joined to a lover.  Kamshisha's heart sank to her stomach and a lump rose in her throat.  She didn't want to believe it at first but as they journeyed to Piet they passed him and she took a sneak peak at his legend.  Her breath stopped as she read "Joined to lover... Loves.... Deoch...."  Her body felt numb as she read the words and yet it moved on with Lybrae as if some unseen force propelled her.  once in the town of Piet Kam mentioned that the talk she and Lybrae had had a few short days before was now irrelevant and she was sure she was destined to Love him from afar and watch as he loved others.

A tear slips down Kamshisha's face as she pauses to wipe it away.

Resigned to this fate she would have felt truly alone in the world if it weren't for her cousin Lybrae.  She would now never tell ChoArrim of her love for him and though she felt duty bound to remain with Lakrumos she was torn weather or not she should tell him and divorce him so he could find someone who would love him as he truly deserved or to remain with him and be the dutiful wife.  As a friend she wanted to see him find love and to have it returned.  But deep inside she felt honor bound to remain with him.

Lybrae and Kamshisha had taken to hunting in the Pravat cave.  They were a good team.   Lybrae was an exceptionally talented rogue.  They would ally themselves with the Grimlock and hunt down and kill the goblins.  Somewhere in her heart Kamshisha couldn't help but feel a little justified each time one of them died.  She prayed to Glioca daily for forgiveness for not showing them compassion.  She had none in her for them.   Her insight raised quickly to 28.  She changed her citizenship from the town of Mileth to the Town of Ruc.

Lybrae had talked her into applying to a guild... She filled out the application and sent it to Lybrae.  Lybrae posted it up for the Guild.  Kamshisha thought that would be all there was to it but a few days after Kam had sent it to her Lybrae let it slip about the interview.  So Kamshisha not being a very outgoing person and more the shy type began to feel very nervous.  Lybrae told her she had to wait a week anyway so not to worry about it.  Kam let it go and decided to cross the bridge when she came to it.

Kamshisha looks to Lybrae as she stops the story.  When you came across me I was wishing that both of my mothers were here to comfort me and to give me guidance.. But I realized when I saw you that I didn't need comfort and guidance, that though my heart grieves for so many reasons, I still have so much to be grateful for.  Our friendship and bond is very strong dear cousin.  And my heart fills with Joy at spreading Glioca's compassion to others, even though my heart is still saddened when I am doing the work of the Goddess how can i help but be filled with a little joy.

She turns away and looks out at the sea as it laps against the Able beach.  One last tear slips from her eye this one of joy as she sighs as her thoughts turn to a eulogy for her adoptive father and brother.  She wasn't alone after all.
