Last Updated: November 24, 1999 - the Nature Notes for December/January are up! (it's going to be a double issue of the newspaper, so it'll be a double-month article.
This section of my webpage is dedicated to Nature - more specifically, my newspaper articles about Nature. In my school, I write an article called - you guessed it - "Nature Notes" for the school newspaper, "The Irish Edition" (no I don't live in Ireland, it's just called that because my school puts a big emphasis on Ireland). But you know what school newspapers are like - people read them, people discuss them, and most people throw them in the garbage can and forget them . :(
So I thought that I should put my articles up here for visitors to my little Island of Creativity. Because after all, Nature isn't only important to just me or the people in my school - it should be important to everyone else. So here are my little Nature Notes, written (with the help of my wonderful mother) over the years that I am proudly part of the school newspaper. They're written with both facts and fun in mind, so... I hope you enjoy them. ^_^
Note: these articles were written having the East coast of North America in mind, specifically somewhere on the line between the North Pole and the Equator. (You figure it out. :P) So some of this info might not apply to where you live. :(
Nature Notes for 1998-1999:
Err, Nature Note.. there's only one. :(
Nature Notes for 1999-2000:
- October 1999 - November 1999 - December/January ***NEW!!!***
Yes that's right! What you see up there is true. I not only wrote these articles (with the help of my wonderful mother - thanks!!!), but I also designed and drew the page graphics that appear here all by myself. So please, do the nice thing - if you wish to either use my articles on your page, or my graphics - please ASK ME FIRST! I don't bite. I would just appreciate it if you ask me for permission first, and maybe show me your page where you're thinking of using these graphics. I'd love to see your page too. So please, don't hesitate to ask me.
