All right everyone, meet Vance Astrovik. When the New Warriors were being created, Vance had his heart set on being an Avenger. Well, he sucked, and they told him to come back in a few years. He was confronted by Night Thrasher, and joined the New Warriors. Problem was, his dad didn't approve of him using his powers as a superhero. (Actually, it turns out his dad was really gay, and he was taking all his pent-up anger and frustration out on his son, who was different...repeating the cycle of pain.) Well Vance, calling himself Marvel Boy at that time, couldn't take it any more. When his dad began to beat him, he lashed out with his telekinetic powers, and ended up killing his father. He was arrested and taken to court. After a long and grueling trial (4 issues, baby), Vance was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Marvel Boy, being the boyscout that he was, decided to take his sentence like a man. Vance was later parolled for good behavior, and rejoined the Warriors (as seen below).
His time in the Vault led Vance to change his codename to Justice. Recently, Justice and lover, fellow teammate Firestar, have been recruted to Earth's mightiest heroes--the Avengers! He has regressed somewhat in his abilities; I think due to the fact that he is overwhelmed with his childhood dream coming true. But, slowly, that is changing...and the rest, as they say, is history.
