The senshi first see a big balloon hovering over the horizon, which is actually the new enemies' homebase. Their goal is to find Pegasus who is hiding in a good person's Dream Mirror. The first we see to head them is actually an old woman (?) named Zirconia. The first group in this Circus is the Amazon Trio, three men who seem to cross dress (...somehow. ^^) Hawk Eye, Tiger Eye and Fish Eye are the first to search Dream Mirrors and summoning their lemures (monster). The Amazoness Quartet are next to appear and at one point, try to disillusion the senshi themselves of their dreams. Neherenia is actually a powerful force behind them, and she still appears in the first six episodes of Sailorstars.

In the anime, Neherenia wishes to take everything from Usagi/Serenity, Princess of the White Moon but it took all the senshi to make her realize her errors. However, in the manga, Neherenia actually goes back to as far in the Silver Millenium when Princess Serenity was born, with the curse that Serenity will not inherit her kingdom. As it happened, the Silver Millenium was destroyed but the senshi told Neherenia that it was not because of her curse that it happened, but because of destiny.

The last and most powerful opposition to all bishoujo senshi, the story of Galaxia is so good and fitting to end the entire series. When Chaos tried to overcome the universe, the golden senshi Galaxia tried to make Chaos succumb to her body, but she let her 'light of hope' free as a measure to save the world in case the evil of Chaos takes over her body. In the present time, the senshi encounter the evil Galaxia with her Sailor Animates and Metal Knights. Their power is taken from the star seeds of various senshi and turned evil by Galaxia. It is introduced in these battles that there is a guardian for each star whose light is greater than an ordinary person's. Sailormoon's star seed, for example, is one of the best (her advantage is that she holds the Silver Crystal and it has power over the solar system.)
