Wherever i go, i think i see
Darkened phantoms following me
A grimace of pain, a blank felt stare
A thoughtless grab of dreams in air
I fall in a sea of bellowing tears
Those tears that aren't even mine
They appear left and right,
Seeping everywhere
Reality has disappeared without a care
An incessant mournful wail
Of things lost, regret this tale
Wish it would disappear to
Cast them away, all my fears
You cannot control it
You cannot see it
You cannot fight it
You must stand alone
And brave the sorrow
Of each of God's lessons
A thorn in each side of the crown.
Hanging from an August vineyard
Dappled with each sunsoft kiss
A bunch of grapes dangle down
Farther than the other bunches
Apart Yet alone to none
A letter crumpled with old creases
Scent of fragrance wafts through,
Old words, an old Scottish tune,
Sealed with one small kiss
Lovers apart yet alone to none
