Episode 182: Gohan, Get Mad! Release the Sleeping Power Within!
Gohan stands poised on the battlefield against Cell as all the Z fighters watch in fear. Without warning, Cell attacks. Gohan is powerless and can only dodge. Cell starts to overpower Gohan, blasting him through a mountain. Declared dead, and Piccolo yells at Goku for causing the death of his own son. Goku just tells him to relax because Gohan’s ki has not decreased. The fight is far from over and Gohan emerges from the rubble. He asks Cell to stop the fight because it is pointless. He tells Cell he fears he will kill Cell if he gets mad enough, releasing his true inner power. This intrigues Cell, and continues the assault on the boy. Cell and Gohan continue to fight, and Gohan lands a kick that knocks Cell down. Who will gain the upper hand in this battle for the earth?

Episode 183: Small Wonders! Cell Juniors Attack
Cell uses an attack similar to Freeza’s finger laser and Gohan simply dodges the attack. Cell quickly moves into position and catches Gohan off-guard and puts him into a bear hug. Goku states that the only way to defeat Cell is if Gohan gets mad. Piccolo tells Goku that the only thing going through the boy’s mind is “Why isn’t my father helping me?” Then Krillin takes out the Senzu beans. Cell then drops Gohan and, in hopes of angering the boy, turns his attention toward the Z warriors. In a flash, he nabs the Senzu beans from Krillin. Andriod 16 gives Cell a bear hug out of the blue. He is about to go kamikaze but the bomb in him was removed earlier. Cell destroys Android 16 with a single blast, leaving only his head. He begins to spew seven blobs out of his tail. Cell tells the miniatures to attack the seven other Z warriors.

Episode 184: The Tragedy of Number 16!
The Cell Jrs. begin to attack the Z fighters and easily dominate them while Gohan watches in horror. Piccolo tells Tien and Yamcha to protect Goku because he hasn’t healed from the battle with Cell. Piccolo does his best to help everyone while he is fighting and saves Krillin from death by one of the Cell Juniors. However, even he is soon overpowered. Krillin is knocked to the ground and gets kicked repeatedly in the ribs. One of the creatures breaks Yamcha’s right arm. Goku apologizes to everyone because he realizes he never should have put them in this situation. Cell continues to taunt Gohan, as his anger is beginning to flow, but he still refuses to release it. Vegita tries a massive blast in hope of killing one of the Cell Jrs., but the little guy just catches the blast and turns it aside. The battle rages on, with Cell giving the okay for the Cell Jrs. to finish off the Z warriors. In a very stirring scene, Gohan’s power flows and he morphs into a Super Saiya-jin 2!

Episode 185: Real Power Blowup. Exploding Cell Juniors
Gohan screams in anger as he powers up. All the Z warriors are surprised at the dramatic increase in power, but Cell is unimpressed. Gohan stands before Cell at full power. Cell is excited to see the boy fully charged. He clutches the Senzu beans in his left hand, but with a quick snatch, Gohan takes them. Cell didn’t even see Gohan move. He lunges for them but Gohan moves away and reappears in front of a Cell Jr. It attacks, but Gohan dodges and counters, causing it to explode! Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo are in shock as Goku laughs in delight. Another one holds Krillin hostage. The Cell Jr. throws Krillin aside and shoots an energy blast at Gohan. He dodges the attack and rescues Krillin. Cell orders the rest of the Cell Juniors to attack Gohan. All five attack at once, and all are defeated swiftly. The Cell Juniors mimck the Z warriors’ attacks on Gohan. This wave of attacks is no good either. He dismantles the remaining, much to Cell’s displeasure. Piccolo tells Goku that Gohan is no longer hesitating and his anger is overriding his reasoning, making him the strongest fighter ever! Gohan gives the Senzu beans to Trunks to distribute to the Z warriors. The battle between Cell and Gohan is about to start once again.

Episode 186: Gohan Staggers Cell With 2 Punches
Trunks tells Krillin, Yamcha, and Tienshinhan to move to a safer location as he gives Goku and Piccolo a bean. Cell attacks Gohan but is too slow to hit Gohan. Gohan then fights back, surprising Vegita. Piccolo understands why Goku fought Cell first, to show Gohan how the tyrant moved and fought. Cell fires and energy blast but Gohan swats it away. Gohan and Cell begin throwing punches, connecting fist to fist. A stalemate is reached between the two as Vegita realizes there is yet another Saiya-jin stronger than him. Cell begins another assault, but Gohan easily dodges every attack. Cell throws a desperation punch, but only connects with a mountain as Gohan stands poised. Angered, Cell powers up and blows up the mountain. He stands face to face with Gohan and tells the boy he cannot be beaten. He powers up to full force. Gohan is unimpressed. He lets Cell punch him in the jaw, and it has no effect whatsoever. Cell tries again, but Gohan lands a blow to Cell’s chest. Cell tries another punch but is hit by an uppercut that knocks him on his butt. Everyone, including Cell, is in complete shock. Gohan is far more powerful than his opponent, and this is only the beginning of the fight.

Episode 187: Cell's Perfect Body Breaks Down
Enraged, Cell tries repeated kicks at Gohan, but he blocks them and strikes back with a kick to Cell’s face. Cell can barely rise to his feet. In desperation, Cell attempts at hitting Gohan are crushed. Gohan again approaches Cell, striking fear into the monster. In a last ditch effort, Cell rockets into the sky and charges up the Kamehameha intending to blow up the world, and after ignoring Goku’s pleads, he launches the attack. Gohan then powers up his own Kamehameha, sending the blast right back at Cell and making a direct hit. After the dust settles from such a powerful, the Z warriors reemerge from underneath the dust and look on in horror, as Cell is still alive. Piccolo reveals that Cell has some of his cells in him and can regenerate his missing limbs, so Goku tells Gohan to finish Cell off, but he refuses. Cell regenerates and attacks again. Gohan then kicks Cell in the face and in the sternum. Piccolo says Cell cannot maintain his perfect form any longer. Cell finally does vomit, and out comes Android 18!

Episode 188: Bye-Bye Everyone! Goku's Last Teleportation
Cell reverts back to his second form from his perfect form. He tries desperately to hit Gohan but receives another blow. Cell walks backward in fear but slips into a hole, catching the edge with his hand. Gohan kicks him, knocking him into the hole. Cell tries to fly out but receives an elbow to the face. Now Goku yells again at Gohan to finish it off. Cell powers up and begins to blow up like a balloon. He says he will explode and destroy the entire earth with him. Gohan falls to his hands and knees, wishing he had listened to his father and killed Cell, but now he is powerless. Cell laughs hysterically, but Goku has a plan. He tells everyone goodbye and teleports in front of Cell. He tells his son to apologize to Chi-Chi for not being there for her. He teleports Cell off of Earth and onto King Kai’s planet much to Kai’s displeasure. Gohan begins to cry and scream for his departed father. Krillin tries to comfort Gohan and tells him to stop blaming himself and how Goku was proud of him. Next, he goes to the aid of the unconscious Android 18, picking her up off the ground.Up on Snake Way, Kai is screaming at Goku for killing him and blowing up his home. King Kai discovers that Cell is still alive! Cell returns in perfect form.

Episode 189: A Nightmare is Reborn. The Absolute Terror
Perfect Cell stands ready to fight Gohan again. Cell then explains how he survived. There is a small lump of nerves in his brain that act as his nucleus, and if the nucleus remains undamaged, he can regenerate any of his cells and recreate his entire body. Gohan transforms into Super Saiya-jin 2 and laughs at his foe, happy to be able to avenge his father’s death.Vegita looks at his dying son, Trunks, as the boy from the future vomits blood. He powers up into Super Saiya-jin form and attacks Cell. The prince fires a ki blast that hits Cell right in the chest, but it does no damage. Vegita goes ballistic, firing hundreds of blasts at his enemy. When he finally stops, the dust lingers around Cell as Gohan and Vegeta wait to see the damage done. Suddenly, Cell emerges from the cloud of dust and backhands Vegeta, sending him crashing to the ground. Cell tries to finish him off with a final blast, but Gohan dashes in front of it and covers the prince as the blast connects on Gohan. The smoke clears and Gohan is lying on an unconscious Vegeta. He stands up, but blood flows from his shattered left arm that hangs lifeless at his side. Piccolo yells for a senzu bean, but Krillin says they are out. Cell puts his hands together and charges up the Kamehameha, promising that Gohan will die along with the planet.

Episode 190: From Father to Son, Goku's Spirit Passed Down
Cell gloats about his Perfect body. Cell reveals that Gero’s plan was not to just kill Goku, but create a being that could rule the universe. With the Saiya-jin cell inside him, Cell is able to grow stronger as he faces death, and with a cell from Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza, he is invincible. He continues by saying the Earth would have been destroyed in 10 years, but now that he knows the instantaneous movement, he has nothing to fear and will destroy the earth himself. Cell laughs at Gohan as the entire planet shakes under Cell’s power. Scenes from around the world are shown of towns and streets crumbling from the earthquakes created by Cell. Gohan tells Cell to finish him off so he can rejoin his father in heaven. Goku’s voice is heard and he tells Gohan not to give up because Saiya-jins never give up. He says that his son is the strongest Saiya-jin and it is up to him and to use his best blast. Gohan complains that he has only one good arm, but his father says that doesn’t matter. Gohan is the strongest in the universe and has to win. Goku says he will always be with him and to avenge his death. Gohan then powers up and pulls his arm back, slowly saying, “KA-ME-HA-ME-.” Cell yells, “DIE!” and unleashes his blast, and Gohan answers with, “HA!” and releases the energy wave. An image of Goku stands behind Gohan with his hands outstretched.

Episode 191: The Fight is Over! Thank You, Son Goku
The two blasts from Cell and Gohan approach each other They meet at equal force. Cell increases his power and his wave begins to overtake Gohan’s, and the boy drops to a knee. Goku tells his son there is more power left inside of him and to not give up and he can win. Gohan reaches deep down and fires back, equalizing the wave of Cell, and then slightly overtaking it. Cell says that will not be enough to defeat him and again powers up, overpowering Gohan once again. Goku realizes the weak link in his son, Gohan is worrying about hurting the planet with his blast, so he tells Gohan to not hold back anything and concentrate on Cell alone. He flies off and joins the attack on Cell, firing his corkscrew laser that just bounces off Cell’s back. Cell sends a blast of his own that sends the Namek flying, but Piccolo refuses to give up. Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin soon join the effort against Cell. Goku tells Gohan to try harder as Cell increases his own power, the waves from his body sending the other Z warriors flying. Gohan sees Piccolo hurt and gets another surge of energy that makes his wave stronger than Cell’s, slightly overtaking the enemy. His Kamehameha is about to overtake Gohan, so Goku tells his son he still has something left. Out of nowhere Vegeta fires a shot that distracts Cell, and Goku yells, “Now!” as Gohan puts everything he has into his blast. The power is enormous and overtakes Cell. Gohan’s wave connects, and it vaporizes Cell as it heads into outer space. Completely exhausted, Gohan falls to the ground, as the Z warriors realize Cell is no more. The five fighters come to Gohan’s side. The long fight is over and the earth is saved again… for now.
