Krillin is Goku's childhood friend. Krillin and Goku set out for many adventures in the previous series, Dragon Ball. Despite being much weaker than Goku, the two have a strong relationship. Krillin was also trained under Master Roshi. His patented attack is the "Distructo-Disc" or "Kienzan" which can slice through almost any object. Krilling provides comic relief to lighten up the mood during serious times.
