The Tournement

“Sensie mails here!” “Thanks Mia, hmm thats strange I’m be invited to a fighters tournament being held by ...” “God Jay you look like you gonna explode who’s the tourney being held by anyway?” BL asked and his brother threw the letter at him. One of Jason students picked it up and handed it to him. “Okay now who’s the guy thats got you in an uproar. Jason you know you have to go to this!” “Excuse me but what are you two hiding from us?” Yusaku asked. Jason let his brother tell them the story about when he was training back with his sensies.

Later that night Jason kept seeing the mans face in his dreams, laughing at him and this time seeing his wife and daughter in the same position he was that really ticked him off. He had lost the fight against the only man who ever was able to take on his teachers and himself. Jason set his goal that day that if he ever got the chance for a rematch with Bison he would take it nonstop. He’s been working on a special combo maneuver that could give him that win.

“Rise and shine sleepy heads!” BL called from outside our room. I had to wake Raye up, hard and dangerous job, usually have to hit her with ice cold water to do it and man do I run the five-hundred yard dash in two seconds when she wakes. “Jason I’m gonna kick your ass, as soon as I’m done taking my shower!” I heard Raye yell as I stopped halfway down the stair case. Hmm, I think I should join her she’s a tiger when cornered.

“Its about time, what took you guys so long?” Akemi growled. Raye and I entered the kitchen and laughed when we heard Akemi’s jesture. “Akemi If I know your folks as well as I should you really don’t wanna know.” BL said with a wink. That former furball actually covered for us, he’s really changed. “So big B whats for breakfast, I’m starved.” Raye asked in angst. “Oh nothing much, just a few stacks of pancakes, sausage links and patties, bacon and a mixture of scrambled and fried eggs.” BL replied moving out of the way to show the feast.

After breakfast, a damn good one at that, I headed down to the tourney. Sure was a lot of people here, too many. Everyone was moving forward just a tad bit to fast and thanks to that I ended up goosing the girl ahead of me. She quickly turned around grabbed my arm and flung me over on my back. "Ouch sorry miss, LITA!” “Oops, Uh sorry Jay, guess you got invited to this thing too huh?” Lita said helping me off my bruised rear. “Yeah, coming for a good reason though, have some payback.” I said ignoring the pain. “wish you good luck Lita, I just don’t wanna end up fighting you though.” I laughed and she slugged me in the arm. “C’mon, don’t tell me your scared that I might beat you. “No I’m scared that I might end up hurting you, wanna train between fights together?” “Sure!” Lita replied as we went in.

“Well he did show up, still looks the same age after all these years too.” Bison laughed. “What I tell you M. B. he’s one who’s willing to fight when he can” came Magus voice. “This plan better work, I usually don’t let anyone into my head like you.” Bison keeled over in his chair, grabbing his head in pain. “Just make sure he isn’t able to fight when your done with him. Also if you can do this for some extra pleasure, do a number on Mrs. Jupiter if you can.” “Magus your a man after my own heart.” Bison wickedly laughed.

“Winner in five minutes and forty-seven seconds Pirate Jon!” an announcer called as Jon’s opponent was carried off the mat. "Your next babe.” Jon grinned at Lita, holding her back was like trying to slow a train. “Save it for the fight Lita, remember what I taught you about controlling that little temper of yours. “Sorry, he’s gonna get a major asswhipping though!” Lita said under her breath. “You talking like that and Olli Jon is going to turn you into street pizza.” I said in a stern tone. “No one calls me babe.” Lita said under her breath.

“Still first round tournament action, Jason Lee will try and best Vega the 4th.” Vega had kids, thought Li made sure he couldn’t, oh well should be a good warm up match. I said to myself till I saw that this Vega was a her. “What your a woman, well good luck!” I exclaimed knowing that I would be breaking my code of never fighting ladies. “Aw, you the one who will be needing the luck senor.” Vega gestured and the match started. She was as quick as her great great grandfather. She caught me off guard and ripped the top portion of my gee. I caught her arm after her blow and slammed her on the ground. Vega sprung back up and actually suplexed me in midjump. I rose, head throbbing as if metallica was having a concert in my head. She-Vega darted at me and spun into a round house kick aimed for my head, to bad I recovered and ducked under her kick, sweeped her and almost kicked her right in the chin but stopped and allowed her to rise. “ I see no glory attacking a downed opponent.” I said and allowed her to rise and continued the match.

I figured this, Vega was a fast fighter so the longer the match the slower She-Vega got which would to my advantage. She-Vega tried the Wall splash and I countered with “SHO-RYU-KEN!” The dragon punch connected with She-Vega’s chest and she fell flat on her back. “Winner in thirty-two minutes and fifteen seconds Jason Lee!” announcer called. “Alright Jay!” Lita exclaimed as I helped She-Vega’s trainer carry off the mat. “She’s a good fighter just like her great grandfather.” I told her trainer. “Thanks I’ll tell my dad that.” “Your her father!”

“Jason you were awesome out there!” Lita said as I returned to our area. “Don’t get to worked up, you still have to fight Pirate Jon remember.” I said with a corny grin. “Why’d you have to remind me!?” Lita sighed. “All you need is alittle practice and work on using your ki, you’ll beat him.” I sad and our twosome went outside to train.

“Second round action, first fight, Pirate Jon vs. Lita, fighters take your corners please.” The announcer called. I took a good look at the guy the first time I saw him, dude looks like a bad cross between a mime and the joker. “Lita remember what I showed you and you’ll beat this guy. “ I whispered in her ear while massaging her shoulders. “Thanks don’t worry though he’s going down.” Lita winked at me before going to the center of the ring. The ref gave Jon some rules to follow and then stepped out of the ring and ringed the bell.

“After the fight how bout you and me go out!” P.Jon said before he went at. “Sorry I don’t date Gorilla brains.” Lita replied and got into her stance. “What! I’m going to turn you into a bloody pulp for that witch.” P.Jon howled and darted toward Lita. She was ready, she for a palm thrust aimed at Jon’s nose and palmed his whole head in her hand. Then jumped into the air and flattlened him on the mat. “Winner in fifteen point one seconds Lita!.” The crowd was as shocked as I was. “Lita, where did you learn that maneuver, it was awesome.” “Saw this lady do it when I was a kid, always wanted to meet her.” “Some lady huh, well seems like you have a mystery lady next.” “Can’t you let me rest!” Lita whined. “Okay okay, though looks like I need to figure out who I got soon.”

“Man that guy is built like a brick, he my next opponent.” I asked aloud. “Doesn’t look like it Jason, your getting a bye into semi-finals. I still have to fight that mystery lady. Your one lucky bum you know that.” Lita said elbowing me in the stomach. Since I had the time I went and called the family to come down and watch and asked to see if they could get a few of the others to come down as well. After the calls went over and got a small snack over in the snack shack while Lita trained for upcoming fight.

“Next fight in the Second round for Lita is against a mystery opponent that just recently signed in.” The announcer left the ring and both Lita and this woman dressed in black meet. Something about the woman looked familiar but I couldn’t figure out why. The match begin with the woman kneeing Lita in gut follow with elbow to her back. Lita matched that with a quick sweep, followed with a kneedrop into her ribs and 3 quick elbows to her stomach. On the fourth attempt the woman turned and locked her legs around Lita waist throwing her to right side of the mat, quickly got up and as Lita rose she was knocked back down with a heel kick to her chin. Watching this woman fight really reminded me of someone I knew. Seven minutes into the fight Lita caught this woman in a head scissors take down and slammed her head on the mat hard. She rose, shaky a little bit. Lita moved in for a headlock take down but was blocked and received a head stomp by this woman. As she came down Lita uppercutted the women in the chin, she flipped and landed on her feet. “No Way!” I heard come out of my mouth hoping it was someone else. Now when Lita was distracted for the mere second the women into a flurry of kicks, a few connected and then the light clicked in my head on who it was. “Lita quick do the move I showed you outside. Don’t know if she heard me but Lita flipped over, did a quick hand stand, splitz and started spinning sucking this women into the super whirlwind kick knocking her down for the count.

“Uh I forgot to set the stop watch for the fight, Lita is your winner!” Everyone in the arena burst into laughter. “Jason!” I heard the few scouts that showed up say through all the hysteria. “Hey guys be right back okay, I need to go and talk to someone.” I yelled going after this mystery lady. “Whew man that was one fight I don’t want to do again.” “C’Mon Lita you looked good out there.” Haruka said with a wink. “Yeah hope you make it all the way!” Mina said embracing her. “OUCH, I need to rest!” Lita grimaced and the others just laughed. “Hello Mrs. Li!” “Huh Jason how did you?!?!”

After my little talk with the mystery woman and returning back to me and Lita’s area, I finally saw who my next opponent was, why me is all that came to mind. “Talk about a caveman, Mom doesn’t he look familiar?” “Rini he does not, but that hair reminds me of Chad a little bit.” Serena replied. “guy reminds me of the Alpha Flight’s Sasquatch and was he a feral fighter.” I said starting some head stand push-ups. “Honey what were you ding in Canada?” Raye asked in a stern voice. “It was during that Onslaught mess hon, was in North America and had to help those guys.” I replied doing a push-up per word then doing a back flip to get back straight. “Okay, still surprise you want to remember that mess.” Raye said before I they called me to the ring. “Well I’m up wish me luck hon!” I winked and kissed Raye before I head to the ring. “Mom don’t you think that many kisses was too much, dad’s face is all red.” I heard Akemi ask and I laughed when I entered the ring.

“Not trying to sound rude but are those bolts or a strange growth coming out of your neck?” I asked and this guys answer gave me a shock “There bolts, names Victor.” very buff voice. He charged and I dodged and went for a sweep only problem was that he didn’t even wobble. He reached down picked me up like a rag doll and slammed me on the mat, felt like Sears tower and the Tokyo Egg Dome fell on me at once.

I kept on thinking that I should kick my powers in but that would be a little unfair but I kept thinking. “I’m fighting Frankenstien and a little boost should Help.” Well as much I wanted the fight to be fair, I kicked started only a fraction of the powers and jumped up off the ground. Victor charged at me again and I reacted, straight punch to the gut, grabbed his huge neck and snapped nared him on the mat. I grabbed one the bolts on his neck, did I ever get a shock but, still got the big guy up and on his feet. “Well Vic can you continue or should I tell them that your out of juice.” I didn’t want to taunt but after doing that I mean he could be hurt. “I can still go so lets continue. “VACUUM HURRICANE!” Vic was sucked into the super hurricane and received a faceful of foot and went down for the count. “Good fight Victor sure glad I that I didn’t get my back broke from that throw. “Alright Jay!” Setsuna called from the crowd, how many scouts are here today.

I rejoined the scouts, my family and together we got Lita ready for her next match. “Lita’s going to fight a buffalo.” Akemi said dumbfounded. “No Pumpkin thats Bison ... Lita has to fight Bison thats not fair!” I yelled and was kicked in the head. “Whats not fair about me fighting this Bison guy?” Lita asked me as I got my face off the mat. “Bison is a ruthless, no nonsense killing machine and a straight up cheater. “ I said and cracked my neck. “Jason I think you just jealous that Lita gets to fight the person holding the tourney.” Haruka said. I stopped Lita before she went to the ring and told her “Just keep an eye on every angle, he’s a sneaky fighter and will take advantage if he can get it to take you out.” “Don’t worry jay I’ll keep my eyes on him.” Lita entered the ring and Bison began his descent toward the ring. I swear to got that smile he aimed at me caused my blood to boil, I knew he was going to make a point to me that he wasn’t just going to just beat his opponents today he was aiming for worse.

“Hope your ready Jupiter this is going to be the fight of your life.” Bison said as the kong rung to start his fight. Beginning they way I imagined, he teleported right behind Lita, kneeing her in the back. Soon as she turned he was on her opposite side and chopped her right in the throat, would have been illegal but Bison is the one holding this thing. “Lita start using your other senses, listen for him coming by listening to his teleportation!” I yelled as bison continued his hit and run tactics. Lita was able to catch him a few times but the beating she took earlier caused those blows to feel like pesty bug bites.

The match only lasted ten minutes but Lita looked she’d been beaten on for a good five hours. “Now I wish I got a bye.” Lita gasped as I helped her back to the locker room. “Lita don’t you dare pass out on me, LITA!” On instinct I laid her down on the counter and started to use my Uni-power to heal her injuries as best I could. “Lita don’t you worry, I’ll get him for you and thats not a promise either, he’s gonna pay!” Lita was always the perfect sister that I never had, like the other scouts, I would do anything for them and this is the number one thing in the world. I leaned over and kissed her forehead and then headed out to my next match after I had the powers I used to work on healing her keep her from site of the other fighters.

Each fight after that moment was either just strangely easy or just one by the fury and rage inside of me. All I knew was that I wanted Bison and wasn’t going to stand down. He won his with the same technique he used on Lita, trying to make a statement I think so. This felt like some kind of second destiny I had to beat Bison with out any help and when I finally won my last match I had Akemi go back to the locker room and wait for the end, I didn’t want her to see what was going to happen.

Getting ready for this fight was the hardest thing ever in my life. Raye kept trying to calm my temper while Bison taunted me from the other side of the ring. Before the match started an old quote that Ryu and Ken kept telling me, knew there old teacher had to tell them the same thing, came back to me. “What do you see in front of your fist!” its always confused me until now, I knew exactly what it was and I was going to show everyone I could do this. Raye stared at me when that thought was going in my head, my face must have showed my determination. “Jason don’t you dare let what happened to Lita happen to you.” Raye cried. Placing my hand on her cheek and wiping the tears away with my thumb, I kissed her, the bell rang and went to the center of the ring.

“Come to have me beat you again like last time. I thought you would have learned I’m the better man.” Bison taunted but it didn’t bug me. He teleported but I was ready, he was mule kicked in the ribs. I guess I frustrated him since he broke the chain that kept his cape on. “Physco Crusher!” Bison called and darted at me like a flaming torpedo. I ducked and jabbed him in the face, snapped back up and meet his scissors kick in mine. Blood trickled from my nose and bottom lip from the blow. I went into the super Hurricane, sucked Bison in and he received 5 kicks to his, rib cage and stomach.

“I could really use a hand now.” I said to myself and felt something enter my body. “Do your special Jason!” Two voices said in Unison. “Yes, it is time. I started charging up the special as I darted toward Bison and went into a hurricane kick. Bison was wobbling, he received a flaming Dragon Punch and finally “SHINKUU HADOU-KEN!” The combo worked, Bison went flying into the bleachers, watchers scattered out of their chairs. Bison crashed through the bleachers and right out into the city, it was said that his body found inside the Tokyo Tower’s lookout. I feel to my knees, panting and almost had an heartattack when the announcer said that fight lasted an hour and fifteen minutes. I was tired, just oh so tired. I looked up into the sky and just let out “ARIGATO ARIGATO!” I knew who I saying it to, it was just shocked a few people in the arena. Haruka and Michiru helped me back into the locker room and to the victory party.

“What hit me, felt like a drunk Godzilla!” Lita said as I entered the small area I left her at. “Looks like you doing better, and that horrible memory is gone.” I said and helped her off the counter. “What, my neck feels like a bitch what did you do.” Lita replied. “Used my powers to heal you after your match with Bison silly.” I laughed, holding my side in pain. “Well how did I look?” “You really want to know.” I replied. “Just show me!” With that I opened a small time portal and let her watch. Lita dropped, she didn’t faint just dropped her head between her legs. “Hey don’t worry, here this yours and you have another visitor.” I gave Lita her trophy and the mystery woman came in. “What she doing here?” Lita gasped. “To pass on the handle of “Worlds Greatest Female Fighter” to its new holder.” She said and removed her mask. Lita was shocked, she couldn’t believe the woman she watched when she was a kid was the woman she beat in the ring. “Lita I like you to meet Chun-Li the former Strongest Woman in the World.” I announced. “I-I-I, It was an honor Chun-Li, and I promise to keep this as long as I live.!” Chun Li grinned, waved and left the room. After Li left, Lita looked at her trophy, jumped up, squeezed me, sobbing and burying her face into my shoulder.

“I thought you’d be happy” I said starting to feel bad. “I am you dumbbell, I just don’t believe that you’re this nice and how in the world did you find out that she was her.” Lita sobbed. “That lighting kick, I’d know it anywhere. All these years and you aren’t used to me, ha , you won’t to come and join the rest of us in the Victory party, celebrating how well you did too.”. Whiping the tears from her eyes and wrapping an arm around me “What do you think Champ.” We entered the locker room together and were sprayed by Champaign right when we walked in. White and liquid don’t mix, thank god we had undergarments on. “Serena, Mina, Rini and Akemi your gonna get it!” Lita and I laughed and tackled the quartet. Rest of the party was all out craziness.
